Itinerary
- Day 1
Alice Springs
You'll meet your group leader and fellow travelers at the hotel at 6 pm. From there, you're heading out to Earth Sanctuary for an Outback barbeque dinner while watching the sun dip below the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges. After you eat, an astronomer leads a stargazing session where you'll look through Deep Sky Telescopes and try to spot different celestial objects in the night sky.

Alice Springs to Watarrka National Park
This morning you're driving west through West MacDonnell Ranges National Park to Simpsons Gap for a guided walk with a First Nations guide who'll tell you about local plants, animals, and the Tjunba totem story while you keep an eye out for rock wallabies. The drive continues through semi-desert landscape to Watarrka National Park and Kings Canyon. You'll walk the Kings Creek Trail between towering cliffs and rock formations. Dinner's included, and if you're interested, there's an optional visit to Light Towers for a visual display.

- Day 3
Watarrka National Park to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park
Start early with the Kings Canyon rim walk, moving from the sandstone domes of the 'Lost City' to the 'Garden of Eden' oasis and taking in views of the palm forest and red rock cliffs. Later you're driving across the landscape to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You'll visit Kata Tjuta's rock domes and walk to a popular lookout, then head to Uluru itself. By evening you're watching the sunset paint the monolith in shifting colors.

- Day 4
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to Alice Springs
Rise early for sunrise over Uluru. You'll walk across the rust-colored landscape to a nearby waterhole to see traditional art sites while your leader explains the history and connection of the Anangu people to these lands. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre is next for more about First Nations culture. If you've got evening flights, you'll head to the free airport shuttle in Yulara. Otherwise you're driving back to Alice Springs after lunch and arriving in the evening, where your Outback adventure wraps up.
