Itinerary
- Day 1
Saigon to Ben Tre
Your guide picks you up in Saigon to start the cycling journey. You'll ride through the rubber jungle before stopping at Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the Vietnam War history. After lunch along the Saigon riverside, you'll ride in an air-conditioned van to Ben Tre and check into your riverside resort for the night.

Ben Tre to Can Tho
Breakfast comes with views of the Mekong River before you cycle through Ben Tre's coconut jungle. The trails take you past rice fields and orchards where you'll meet local Khmer people and see how they live. By afternoon, you transfer to Can Tho and check into your riverside hotel with the evening free to walk around the city.

Can Tho to Chau Doc
Start with a boat ride to Can Tho's floating market, then cycle through Phong Dien's countryside alongside natural creeks and small villages. You'll see river activities throughout the day. Lunch happens in Thoi Lai, and after eating you continue cycling deeper into the landscape. The afternoon takes you through Tra Su cajuput forest on bike, and if there's time you can catch the sunset at Sam Mountain near Chau Doc before heading to Cao Lanh.

Chau Doc to Cao Lanh
An hour-long motorized boat ride takes you to catfish farms and floating villages around Chau Doc. From there you cycle through rural areas with stilted houses to explore the lowland border town. You'll visit Hoa Hao, known for local Buddhism, and see family incense workshops. Later you cycle to a 120-year-old French monastery and explore islets before arriving in Cao Lanh for the evening.

Cao Lanh to Saigon
After breakfast, you transfer about 30 minutes to where the cycling starts. Quiet rural roads by small rivers lead you to Xeo Quyt, the former Viet Cong base, where a local guide shows you shelters and takes you on a sampan boat into the forest. If time allows, there's a final 25 km ride through rice fields, irrigation networks, and fruit orchards before lunch. You'll head back to Saigon in the late afternoon, about 2.5 hours away.
