Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tenerife to San Cristóbal de La Laguna
You'll arrive in Tenerife and pick up your rental car for the week. The drive north hugs the coast all the way to San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a charming old town where colonial mansions and churches line the streets. Once you check in and get settled, find a good spot for dinner to kick things off.

- Day 2
San Cristóbal de La Laguna
Head into Anaga National Park where you'll walk through dense laurel forests on winding roads with great viewpoints along the way. Stop at Mirador Cruz del Carmen and take the path of the senses through all that greenery. By afternoon, head back to La Laguna to wander the historic old town and explore its colonial houses and alleyways that mark its importance on the America-Asia trade routes.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna to Garachico
Drive west to the rugged coastline where natural pools formed by lava rock sit waiting. You can swim in the turquoise waters at Punta Hidalgo and Jover, then grab lunch somewhere with views of both sea and mountains. After that, explore Garachico's old town with its 16th-century San Francisco Monastery and the volcanic lava pools that formed during the 1706 eruption.

- Day 4
Garachico to Los Gigantes
The mountain roads wind through some dramatic terrain as you head to Masca in the Teno mountains, where you'll get views of cliffs and volcanic craters. Continue on to Los Gigantes and see those 450-meter-high cliffs rising right from the water. Walk Calle Tabaiba and hike the paved trail for a closer look, then find Playa de los Guíos with its black lava sand beach and cliff views.

- Day 5
Los Gigantes
This day focuses on Teide National Park, the main attraction here. Driving through small villages and forests, the landscape shifts to something otherworldly with black lava flows and volcanic rocks, and Teide stays in view the whole time. Hike between the dramatic formations, then cool off at the natural swimming pools at Los Gigantes as the sun goes down.

- Day 6
Los Gigantes to Callao Salvaje
Drive south to Adeje and head to Callao Salvaje on the south coast where you'll be staying. Switch gears into relaxation mode and settle into beach paradise. Spend the afternoon at Playa del Duque soaking up sun and swimming, then find a beach bar for a sundowner as the day winds down.

- Day 7
Callao Salvaje
This is a full beach day to just relax and enjoy. Drive to Playa de Las Américas, a pristine sandy beach that's perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Spend your time on a lounger with a book, take dips in the Atlantic when you feel like it, and as evening comes, head to a beachfront bar to toast the evening.

Departure from Tenerife
Take time to reflect on your week and all the different places and experiences you've had. Grab one last cortado before returning your rental car, then head to the airport with sunshine in your heart and memories from every part of your Tenerife journey.
