  • Upstream Mekong River Cruise Tour From Vietnam To Cambodia – 10 Days reviewer 1
    · December 10th, 2024
Amazing Food, People, and Scenery This was my first river cruise, and it was incredible! Starting in Vietnam, we explored lively floating markets and quaint villages in the Mekong Delta. Every day brought something new: temples, farms, and even a fish farming village! The local guides were amazing, sharing stories that made each place come alive. The cruise ship itself was a highlight. The staff was so attentive, and the food—oh my goodness!—was some of the best I’ve ever had, with fresh ingredients and flavors from the region. The transition to Cambodia was exciting, and Phnom Penh offered rich cultural and historical experiences. The last leg to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat felt like a grand finale. I left the trip feeling deeply connected to the history and beauty of the Mekong.

A Unique Way to Explore Vietnam and Cambodia. This cruise exceeded my expectations! The journey felt seamless as we transitioned from the busy streets of Vietnam to the peaceful rivers of Cambodia. The daily excursions were well-organized, from biking through local villages to exploring ancient Khmer temples. Each stop was more beautiful than the last. Onboard, the staff was incredibly kind and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. The small-group setting made it easy to connect with fellow travelers. Waking up to views of the Mekong every morning was magical. This cruise is an unforgettable way to explore two stunning countries.

Our 10-day cruise from Vietnam to Cambodia was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The boat itself was comfortable, with a cozy dining area and panoramic views. The excursions were well chosen, especially the temple visits and the rural village tours. We felt like we got to see the real heart of these countries. I particularly enjoyed the laid-back pace—it allowed us to connect with the environment and enjoy every moment. Would absolutely do it again!

Is there a name of the boat? Pictures of the rooms? Food? I was looking for reviews or at least pictures to get an idea of what to expect but I don't see any options for that.
