In the afternoon, you'll take an indigenous canoe out to look for dolphins, which is a real highlight. Dinner happens back at your cabin later that evening.

An absolutely incredible adventure run by a passionate, organized enthusiastic team. The people from Impulse care so much about benefiting the local community and genuinely making a difference in the places we visited. Every day had new opportunities to listen, dance and learn about a unique style of music. We visited small rural villages, ate tasty, made from scratch cuisine in local homes, enjoyed boutique accommodations and first hand stories from knowledgeable guides. The array of talent you encounter is mind blowing. The energy is contagious. This journey is truly authentic. Colorful. Immersive. FUN! The people involved push it over the top as a must do experience. Travel matters. Vacations can have a huge positive impact if done right. This adventure is the definition of meaningful travel.

Do it! Pack tank tops! Great tour, top notch musicians and learning, take advantage of the costeñitas and soak it all in. Mompox and Islas Rosario are absolute highlights.

Just an FYI to anyone looking at this tour it is not a guided tour or within a tour group. You get sent travel vouchers for some parts, and for most parts there were taxi pick ups or drop offs which all worked really well I think could probably just copy the itinerary and book the elements of the tour yourself but it was nice to have it all planned for us in advance
