Munich
You've arrived in Munich and the day is open for you to do as you like. Take time to walk around the city, grab a coffee at a local spot, or just settle in and get your bearings. This is a good chance to wander through the streets, check out the main squares, or head back to rest after your travel.

Munich to Neuschwanstein Castle
A full-day guided tour takes you out to the Bavarian Alps to see Neuschwanstein Castle, the famous residence of King Ludwig. You'll travel through the foothills, learn about the region's history, and spend time at this remarkable castle perched in the mountains. By evening you'll head back to Munich.

Munich to Nuremberg to Bamberg
Your guide walks you through Nuremberg's medieval streets, pointing out the gilded fountain, gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle that overlooks the city. You'll see the old town walls and get a real sense of this historic place. Later that evening you board an overnight cruise heading toward Bamberg, so you'll settle in and relax on board as you travel.

Bamberg to Würzburg
At the Adventure Center you get to choose your activity for the morning: bike along the canals with your Adventure Host or take a guided walking tour of Bamberg's historic sites like the Romanesque cathedral, Old Town Hall, and the seven hills topped with churches. After lunch you board an overnight cruise heading to Würzburg.

You've got choices here. In the morning, either bike around Würzburg with your Adventure Host or join a guided tour of the Old Main Bridge, the fortress, and the baroque Bishop's Residenz. There's also an optional excursion to Rothenburg if you want something different. Come evening there's live entertainment on board before the cruise departs for Miltenberg.

A guided walking tour shows you Miltenberg's medieval half-timber buildings and you'll stop by Germany's oldest inn. You can explore the town, grab lunch, and spend time wandering the streets. That evening you board an overnight cruise heading to Frankfurt.

Frankfurt to Boppard

Spend the afternoon exploring Frankfurt on your own, then get back on board for live entertainment before cruising to Boppard.

Relax on the Sky Deck as you cruise through the Rhine Gorge toward Rüdesheim, taking in the views the whole way. Once there, choose between hiking through vineyards with your Adventure Host or visiting the Mechanical Music Museum and trying authentic Rüdesheimer coffee. That evening the cruise departs for Strasbourg.
