I have a cousin who is an Italian citizen and lives in Italy. She may be available to come to Milan while I'm visiting Milan and I'd like to see if she can join some parts of the tour.

A few concerns with this one need to be shared and processes reviewed at your end. Itinerary was good with the respective day tours and the hotel was a nice place to stay. Individual tour operators were great to interact with and this assisted in our visit to Milan Pity the hotel was out of town - due to Milan being busy we couldn't get booked into a hotel in the city but were 8km out (which turned into a 30 minute taxi ride each day) even though we booked our tour with your firm in April 2025. A driver was booked daily to take us into town but we had to find our own way back and the additional travel each day turned out costly - 25 - 30 euro each way. Additionally, our tour documents asked us to check details thoroughly however when we were not at the hotel for a tour pickup on the first afternoon (due to an incorrect time being given in the document and subsequently advised to your agent) we were advised it was "just a typo" and we had to make our way back to town at our own expense in a hurry. The agent was abrupt and firm on the fact we were responsible to make our tour on time and would not accept that an error advised to us in writing had been made on your firm's behalf which contributed to us missing the transfer. Your agent did organise a driver to take us to the airport when we were leaving so that was a benefit we appreciated. Note we did have two tours in the city centre on the one day but a 5 hour gap between both - would have been beneficial to have timed these a bit closer together.Show more

I want to clarify that I send the travel documents 20 days in advance, requesting your review to confirm that everything is correct, as there could occasionally be a typo or similar mistake. Furthermore, I would like to kindly clarify that the Discovering Milan package does not include round-trip transfers from/to the airport or train station. Regardless of the hotel location, these transfers would have been at your own expense. The same applies to the tours/excursion of this trip, but TUI Italia kindly arranged for you the transfer to reach the meeting point, it's an upgrade as the hotel was located farther from the city center. In addition, please note that at the time of booking, it was clearly communicated that the hotel would be outside Milan due to a furniture fair taking place in the city. Additionally, to apologize for the typo, I booked your return airport transfer free of charge.
