- Day 1
Launceston to Scottsdale
Your day starts with a meeting at the hotel for your tour briefing and bike fitting. From there, you'll cycle roughly 63km through North East Tasmanian countryside and forests heading toward Scottsdale. The landscape shifts between open fields and tree-covered sections, giving you a good sense of the region. Once you arrive in Scottsdale, the afternoon is yours to decide. You can wander around this historic town on your own, or if golf interests you, there's Barnbougle available for an extra fee.

- Day 2
Scottsdale to Derby
Today's ride covers around 33km through agricultural areas, and you have two route options to pick from. Stay on the Tasman Highway if you prefer the straightforward path, or take the maintained rail trail that winds through forests off-road if you want something different. Either way, you'll end up in Derby, which is known for mountain biking. After arriving, you can explore single track trails, grab lunch at a local spot serving woodfired pizzas and dark ales, or visit Australia's only wood-fired floating sauna if you're looking for something unusual.

Derby to St Helens
After having continental breakfast provided, you'll cycle approximately 99km through lush valleys and rainforests as you head toward the East Coast. During the ride, you'll stop at Weldborough Pass for a walk through rainforest. Later, you'll descend into Pyengana Valley where there's a famous cheese factory if you want to stop for ice cream. St Columbus Falls, Tasmania's highest waterfall, is an optional detour if you have time and energy. By evening, you'll reach St Helens on the East Coast, known for game fishing. You're staying at Kellraine Units, and you can pick from local restaurants for dinner, with seafood being a natural choice in this area.

- Day 4
St Helens to Bicheno
You'll cycle about 75km today along the coastline, which is relatively straightforward riding. There are numerous sandy beaches and small bays where you can stop whenever you like. The route passes through Scamander, a seaside town, and then Henderson's Lagoon if you're into bird watching. Iron House Brewery is an optional lunch stop where you can try local beers. Later, you have two choices for where to finish. Either take the unsealed Rosedale Road toward Douglas Apsley National Park, or stay on the coast road and head to Bicheno by the Bay for accommodation.

- Day 5
Bicheno to Swansea
Morning brings a short coastal ride to Coles Bay, the gateway to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. Once there, you can do extensive walks, relax on the beach, or arrange kayaking on Oyster Bay with Freycinet Adventures. You're staying at Iluka Holiday Park, and dinner options include local pubs, pizzerias, or bringing food for a beach picnic. In the afternoon, you'll ride Coles Bay Road again then cycle through wine country with tastings and coffee stops along the way. Cherry Tree Hill has a steep climb but rewards you with views back toward the Hazards range. The route undulates through eucalypt forest with both rural and coastal views. Glen Gala Road offers an optional detour to Gala Estate Vineyard if you're interested. By the end of the day, you'll reach Swansea Holiday Park, positioned right by the water.

Swansea to Triabunna
This 52km ride sits roughly halfway through your tour and gives you spectacular Tasman Highway views of unspoilt coastline. You'll pass numerous sandy beaches and rocky coves where stopping is easy. The route takes you past the famous 'Spiky Bridge', a remnant from the convict era, and then through small rural hamlets near Swanport. From there, the path continues through country fields and rolling hills. Maria Island National Park is visible to the south-east. You'll end up in Triabunna for a 2-night stay. Before settling in, stop by the local IGA to pack lunch for your Maria Island trip the next day.

- Day 7
Triabunna to Hobart
Your final day offers flexibility. You can either cycle approximately 93km to Hobart by leaving early and having breakfast in Richmond (63km away), then riding the remaining 30km into the city. Or you can take the included vehicle transfer departing at 10am, which goes via Mount Wellington for sensational views before reaching your hotel. Lunch is included at 1pm with selected drinks covered. For the evening, there's St Patrick's Day celebration with live music at Irish Murphys in the Salamanca district, or traditional music at New Sydney Hotel. If culture interests you more, visit the well-known MONA museum via Brooke Street Pier ferry with Derwent River views. Otherwise, relax at the Botanical Gardens or spend time at Salamanca Place waterfront.
