Val Pusteria
You'll arrive at your hotel in Val Pusteria, nestled in the Dolomites. After getting settled in your room, the rest of the day is yours to do as you like. Some people wander around the local area and get a feel for the town, while others prefer to relax and prepare for the cycling that starts tomorrow.

Val Pusteria to Cortina d'Ampezzo
Your cycling begins today on the old narrow-gauge railway track. The route takes you past Dobbiaco lake and a war cemetery, with mountain views including the Tre Cime throughout the ride. Later you'll cross from South Tyrol into Veneto, eventually reaching Cortina d'Ampezzo, home to the Olympic village.

- Day 3
Cortina d'Ampezzo to Belluno
You'll continue on the old railway track with the Sorapis range on one side and the Cinque Torri (Five Towers) on the other. Around midday you'll stop for lunch in Pieve di Cadore, the birthplace of the painter Titian. After that, you'll head through the valley known for its ice-cream makers before arriving in Belluno.

- Day 4
Belluno to Feltre
Leaving Belluno, you'll cycle across the foothills through small villages on tree-lined roads heading toward Feltre. This hilltop town has an interesting history, completely rebuilt in the 16th century after being destroyed in 1510 because of its ties to Venice.

- Day 5
Feltre to Bassano del Grappa
Today you'll descend into the Brenta Valley and then onto the plains to reach Bassano del Grappa, which takes its name from the nearby Monte Grappa. There's time to visit the Poli Grappa museum or the Museo Civico if you're interested, and you can walk across the famous wooden Ponte Vecchio, which honors the Alpini troops.

- Day 6
Bassano del Grappa to Treviso
You'll cycle past several villas designed by the architect Palladio before taking a break in Asolo, a nice hilltop town with a charming center. From there, you'll head along the plains toward Treviso, which is surrounded by a town wall and waterways. The town itself is full of arcaded walkways and canals weaving through the center.

- Day 7
Treviso to Venice
The final ride follows the River Sile on a gentle route to the edge of Venice. From the mainland, you can take a boat or other transport into the city. Once there, you can see St Mark's Square, the Doges Palace, and cross the Rialto Bridge on foot.

Depart Venice
You'll leave Venice today, though if you want more time in the city, you can ask about staying extra nights. This gives you flexibility to see more of the 'Floating City' if the previous day wasn't quite enough.
