    How many people are registered for this tour? I am booked to share a room with one other person. would it be too late to change my mind? I would also like to know if the desert camp accommodation has a comfortable mattress?

      10 people are booked in total. If you would like to request a single supplement, it is at a rate of 1399 CAD. Please note, this would need to be requested from the local office and the process takes 3 business days to receive a response from the team. The desert camp provides a proper bed with a mattress and bedding, and most travellers find it comfortable rather than basic camping.

    Tour description states that 'travel insurance' is required. However, when we follow the link provided to tour radar we find that Jordan is not among the destinations covered. We have Assist America for medical & evacuation. Will this suffice or do we need to seek 3rd party insurance somewhere else?

      Our insurance requirements are as follows: it is mandatory for all of our travellers to have Emergency Medical Travel Insurance that will cover the dates of the tour. This emergency evacuation benefit, and includes repatriation to your home country. The medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation benefits must, when combined together, cover for at least 200,000.00 USD per traveller.

      If your current insurance does not meet the requirement, you can check with other insurance companies based on where you reside.

    • For any tour departing before July 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with National Geographic Expeditions with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and National Geographic Expeditions with G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
