- Day 1
Germany to Windhoek
Your flight from Germany departs this evening, heading toward Windhoek. You'll settle in for the overnight journey across the Atlantic, arriving in Africa tomorrow afternoon.

- Day 2
Windhoek
After landing in Windhoek in the early afternoon, your German-speaking guide meets you at the airport. You'll walk through the city center checking out colonial landmarks like Independence Avenue, the Alte Feste, and Christuskirche. Later, you'll stroll through Parliament Gardens and see the Independence Memorial. By evening, you'll try Namibian cuisine at Joe's Beerhouse.

Windhoek to Waterberg
From Windhoek, you'll head north to Okahandja's woodcarving market for some browsing. Then you'll travel to the AfriCat Foundation (or CCF from 2026 onward) to learn about conservation work with leopards, hyenas, and pangolins, plus time with cheetahs in rehabilitation care. After that, you'll drive to Waterberg Wilderness Lodge where you can relax by the pool and optionally join a game drive at sunset to spot rhinos.

Waterberg to Etosha
This morning you'll explore the 1904 Battle of Waterberg site and the military cemetery at the mountain's base. You'll see the diverse Waterberg Plateau landscape with wildlife like leopards, rhinos, buffalo, Cape vultures, ibex, and sable antelopes. An optional hike takes you to the high plateau for views. By evening, you'll travel to your lodge at Etosha's southern gate.

- Day 5
Etosha National Park
You'll spend the full day in an open four-wheel drive exploring Etosha National Park. You'll search for wildlife along the enormous salt pan and at waterholes where animals gather to drink. At lunch, you'll break back at the lodge to rest by the pool while the heat settles over the park.

- Day 6
Etosha National Park
Another full day roaming Etosha in search of lions, elephants, elands, giraffes, and Damara dikdiks. You'll travel through the park's heart, along the massive salt pan and numerous waterholes to watch herds drinking. You'll return to the lodge by sunset.

Etosha to Damaraland
You'll take a guided tour through a Himba village learning about these 'red nomads' and their unique traditions and beauty practices. Then you'll travel through Damaraland's wild landscape with African savannah, dry sandy rivers, and granite rocks. After that, you'll hike to Vingerklip rock formation, enjoy a sundowner with views, and dine at the lodge plateau overlooking the landscape.

- Day 8
Damaraland to Brandberg
You'll visit the Damara 'Living Museum' to learn about indigenous culture and traditions. Then you'll explore Twyfelfontein on a 2-hour guided hike through over 2,500 rock engravings and paintings, including the 'Dancing Kudu.' Later you'll travel to Uis in the Brandberg region and arrive at your guesthouse with Namibia's highest peak visible in the evening light.

- Day 9
Brandberg Region
You'll join Anton, a desert elephant expert, for a four-wheel drive game drive searching for Namibia's native desert elephants between the Huab and Ugab dry rivers. You'll see Brandberg mountain, encounter cave paintings, and listen for desert lions under the stars. In the afternoon, you'll relax by the pool at your accommodation.

Brandberg to Swakopmund
You'll visit a San village to learn about their traditional way of life and how they balance tradition with modernity. Then you'll relax during the drive to Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast, where cooler air comes from the Benguela Current. You can explore colonial buildings, try Black Forest gateau at Café Anton, or walk on the pier.

- Day 11
Swakopmund
You'll spend this day exploring Swakopmund at your own pace. You can walk through colonial-era buildings, relax on secluded Atlantic beaches, or check out the woodcarving market near the lighthouse. Many locals speak German and the town has a relaxed feel with promenades, palm-lined avenues, and parks. Optional excursions to nearby areas are available if you want.

- Catamaran tour of Walvis Bay harbor and lagoon to observe dolphins, seals, pelicans, flamingos, and seabirds with lighthouse at Pelican Point in background. Fresh Atlantic oysters and South African sparkling wine offered on board. Whale season June-November.

Swakopmund to Namib Desert
You'll travel through Namib-Naukluft National Park viewing ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis plants that can live up to 1000 years. You'll stop at Namibia's famous petrol station in Solitaire, then continue south to Elegant Desert Camp near Sossusvlei. You'll see spectacular sunrise and sunset lighting across the Namib Desert and dine under the open sky in the boma with campfire.

- Day 13
Sossusvlei Desert Safari
You'll wake early for optimal seating as the sun rises over the dunes. You'll climb the world's highest dunes for panoramic views across endless sand. Then you'll visit Deadvlei's bizarre landscape with dead camel thorn trees reaching skyward. You'll return through Sesriem Canyon with a short hike through the narrow gorge. An optional sundowner drive shows different desert landscapes. As evening approaches, you can roll your beds onto the terrace for a night under the stars.

- Day 14
Namib to Aus
You'll travel southwest through the lonely Namib landscape toward the Helmeringhausen region, home to the famous desert horses. You'll learn about their origin, behavior, and future. Later you'll continue to Aus near Lüderitz, a small town founded in 1905 as a German colonial railroad station.

- Day 15
Aus to Lüderitz
You'll explore Kolmannskuppe, a ghost town created by diamond discovery that once thrived with infrastructure. Now the desert sand drifts through the ruins creating a ghostly, nostalgic feel. You'll take an extensive tour of the abandoned town seeing remnants like a bathtub, fridge, and narrow-gauge railroad. Then you'll continue to Lüderitz on the Atlantic coast, known as the 'Open Air Art Nouveau Museum' with colorful German colonial-era buildings.

Lüderitz to Fish River Canyon
You'll continue south to Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. This massive gorge stretches 160 km long, up to 27 km wide, and 500 meters deep, winding dramatically through rocky landscape. You'll hike along the eastern edge with great photo opportunities throughout. You'll stay at Canyon Village in pretty thatched-roof houses.

- Day 17
Fish River Canyon to Kalahari
You'll start with a substantial breakfast before a spirits tasting at Naute Crystal Winery, learning about Namibian wine growing and trying local wines. You'll discover the distinctive quiver tree forest where Bushmen once used aloe branches as quivers. You'll pass through 'Giants Playground' with its rocky landscape and continue via Mariental into the golden grasslands and red dunes of the Kalahari.

Kalahari
You'll hike through the Kalahari with a local San guide who introduces you to the desert landscape up close. In the last sunlight of the day, you can optionally take a game drive through the golden waving grass and red dunes where you might spot springbok, oryx antelopes, and ostriches.

Kalahari to Windhoek
You'll have a leisurely morning after breakfast before traveling back to Windhoek through the Kalahari foothills. You'll spend another night at the Elegant Guesthouse and have the afternoon to shop for souvenirs before departure.

Windhoek to Germany
Around noon you'll transfer to Windhoek Airport for your flight home to Germany. You'll say farewell to Namibia as your adventure concludes.
