I am wondering if April/May is getting too late for Patagonia.

    • Responsible Travel South AmericaOperatorWritten March 2025

April/May is not the best time to visit Patagonia, even now the weather is getting bad. I would much better recommend to visit Chile in November or December, that is summer and the weather is better for day activities and everything is open.

I would like to know how much will the inside flights will cost and how they can be booked. Also will it be possible to add a trip at the end of the tour to Easter island? How much would it be to have a single room too.

    • Responsible Travel South AmericaOperatorWritten December 2024

Internal flights in Chile can be purchased directly through LATAM, or you can also check other airlines that operate within Chile, such as Sky Airline and JetSmart. These airlines offer reliable services between major destinations in the country. Yes, its possible to add a visit to easter islands. I suggest you visit the island for 4 days minimun. Its possible to have a single room. I need to calculate it and I will let you know the price.

    • Responsible Travel South AmericaOperatorWritten December 2024

For a single traveler in March, the price for this trip is 7500 USD, excluding local flights within Chile.

    • Responsible Travel South AmericaOperatorWritten December 2024

For this tour you will need these internal flights: 1 – flight Santiago to San Pedro De Atacama, 2 – flight San Pedro De Atacama to Puerto Montt, 3 – flight Puerto Montt to Punta Arenas, 4 – flight Puerto Natales to Santiago. I recommend you to book them on your own it will be cheaper and I will help you.

it says minimum 2 people to book. is it to depart or I need to bring someone as I travel alone. I dont mind sharing with a stranger the rooms but I wont be able to find anyone to join. Should I look for another tour then?

    • Responsible Travel South AmericaOperatorWritten December 2024

We recommend the tour to be a minimum of 2 people, but we can organize it for you too but it will increase the price. If you want I can customize it to try to keep a correct price. Or If you are interested on a precised part of Chile I can create a new tour specialy for you.

    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
