Itinerary
- Day 1
Kittilä to Äkäslompolo
You'll arrive in Kittilä and catch a public bus to Äkäslompolo (about 60 minutes, pay locally). Once there, a driver picks you up and heads north toward the husky farm roughly 200 km away in Lapland. After the farm team briefs you on what to expect and hands over your gear, you'll settle into your log cabin for the night.

- Day 2
Husky Farm
At the husky farm, your guide walks you through handling the sledges and dogs with detailed instruction. Then you head out on your first hut tour, covering around 45 km as you start sledding with the huskies. That night you'll stay in a simple wilderness hut that has a sauna.

Tunturilappland
You're traveling through Tunturilappland, a region with vast marshlands, lakes, rivers, and forests climbing up to about 1000 meters. Watch for reindeer as you glide quietly through the winter landscape. Most of the area is national park. You'll stay in simple log cabins where you help prepare meals, feed the dogs, split wood, and heat the sauna. In between activities, take snowshoe walks or relax and connect with your dog team.

Return to Husky Farm
You return to the husky farm in the afternoon. After saying goodbye to your huskies, enjoy your first real shower and have dinner before spending the night back in log cabin accommodation.

Leisure Day at Husky Farm
This day is yours to do as you like. The farm staff can help set up activities, and snowshoes are available to rent. You can also book snowmobile tours for extra cost, hang around the farm, or walk with the retired huskies. You'll have another night in a log cabin.

Departure
Have breakfast and say your final goodbyes before transferring back to Äkäslompolo. From there, catch a public bus to the airport (pay locally) to head home.
