Why is the age cap for this tour 39? Is there a focus on partying or is it just for the intensity of the tour or some other reason?

I saw it only includes 1 breakfast, are we completely responsible for finding our own breakfast and dinner places or do we get taken to food places and just have to pay for ourselves? Please clarify how it works

Yes, there will certainly be other travellers you will be with for the entirety of the tour as there are currently more than 10 travellers booked on this tour. There will be various other solo travellers as well within the March 01, 2026 tour group.

Is it possible to plan the trip from 04.09.2026 to 18.09.2026?

Regretfully, we do not have a tour departure date for Viva Mexico: Ancient Ruins & the Mayan Riviera for Sept 4th - 18th. The earliest Sept departure is Sept 13th - 26th. Perhaps one of our other Mexico tours is available for your intended dates of travel?

This particular tour is one of our 18-39 options, so all travellers must be no more than 39 years of age on Day 1 of the tour. We recommend considering one of our Classic tours that are open to all ages.

How are the buses that will transport travelers? Are there beds for the overnight and/or long travel days?

On this particular tour they normally would use a minivan or minibus seating 20 people. For the overnight bus it is normally a 40 seater bus with seats that can recline, but please note they do not fully recline or turn into a bed.

Should I understand that there is no chance for my family to make a tour with your company, or is it only for a specific tour?

We do offer tours that are suitable for your family, but they would not be of the 18-39 category. On the Tour Radar booking page you can filter the operator (G Adventures) and then the tour type (Classic, Active, Family etc) to find the ones suitable for your family.

Travellers must be 39 years old or younger as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour. Many times travelers do like the itinerary that 18-Thirtysomethings trips offer as its pace.   Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
