  Why is the age cap for this tour 39? Is there a focus on partying or is it just for the intensity of the tour or some other reason?

    I saw it only includes 1 breakfast, are we completely responsible for finding our own breakfast and dinner places or do we get taken to food places and just have to pay for ourselves? Please clarify how it works

    Our 18-Thirtysomethings tours are designed for travelers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travelers around their age, while visiting a new destination. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour. Many times travelers do like the itinerary that 18-Thirtysomethings trips offer as its pace. However, we have to hold true to our promise on delivering the interpersonal experience we wish to offer with this product. At G Adventures, we strongly believe in putting the right travelers on the right trip - based on what they are looking to achieve. This ensures the best experience possible. Maintaining expectations of travelers on these tours as well as travelers who wish to go on these tours is our part of our commitment to high customer service. We want to keep the dynamic of travelers having the same mindset, feel and experience for this style of travel.

    Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip.

  If I will book this date, are there also other people on this trip which have booked the same time and trip? So I mean, do I have a group all the time and is it always the same group? I don´t want to be alone again on such a trip as last year, because I'm travelling alone and want to be sure to get connected there with other people.

    Yes, there will certainly be other travellers you will be with for the entirety of the tour as there are currently more than 10 travellers booked on this tour. There will be various other solo travellers as well within the March 01, 2026 tour group.

    Regretfully, we do not have a tour departure date for Viva Mexico: Ancient Ruins & the Mayan Riviera for Sept 4th - 18th. The earliest Sept departure is Sept 13th - 26th. Perhaps one of our other Mexico tours is available for your intended dates of travel?

    This particular tour is one of our 18-39 options, so all travellers must be no more than 39 years of age on Day 1 of the tour. We recommend considering one of our Classic tours that are open to all ages.

  How are the buses that will transport travelers? Are there beds for the overnight and/or long travel days?

    On this particular tour they normally would use a minivan or minibus seating 20 people. For the overnight bus it is normally a 40 seater bus with seats that can recline, but please note they do not fully recline or turn into a bed.

    We do offer tours that are suitable for your family, but they would not be of the 18-39 category. On the Tour Radar booking page you can filter the operator (G Adventures) and then the tour type (Classic, Active, Family etc) to find the ones suitable for your family.

    this specific tour is only for those between 18-39, so we would not be able to accept any one outside this age range. We do have other tours however that are open to all ages.
