Itinerary
- Day 1
Frankfurt to Kathmandu
You'll depart Frankfurt on a scheduled flight with Qatar Airways or another airline, connecting through to Kathmandu. The journey takes you across multiple time zones heading toward the Himalayas.

Kathmandu
After landing in Kathmandu, you'll handle your Nepal visa upon arrival at the airport with help from your tour guide. From there it's a transfer to your hotel where you can settle in and adjust to the local time.

- Day 3
Kathmandu
This morning you'll walk through Durbar Square to see its sacred Hindu temples and palaces. Later in the evening, head over to Boudhanath Stupa. You'll also make your way to Patan to check out its ancient Durbar Square with temples dedicated to Shiva, Krishna, Ganesh and Vishnu, plus the Royal Palace with its detailed courtyards.

Kathmandu to Bandipur
After breakfast you'll drive to Bandipur, a Newar town positioned halfway between Kathmandu and Pokhara. The rest of your day is open, giving you time to walk through the medieval-looking Bazaar with its stone-paved streets and historic architecture.

Bandipur to Pokhara
You'll drive to Pokhara after breakfast along a scenic route. Your hotel sits on Lake Phewa in a nice area. In the afternoon, you'll take a boat trip across the lake with views of the Himalayan mountains and rice fields below.

- Day 6
Pokhara
After breakfast, head to the International Mountain Museum where you can see views of three eight-thousanders and learn about mountaineering history and mountain cultures. Then visit the Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa built to inspire peace and unity.

Pokhara to Naudanda to Sarangkot
You'll drive to Naudanda at 1,463 m altitude after breakfast. Stop at the Tibetan village of Hyanja to visit its children's home and school. Later you'll hike from Naudanda to Sarangkot, which takes about 3 hours and gives you great views of Lake Phewa and the Himalayan range.

Sarangkot to Chitwan National Park
You'll drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, one of Asia's richest wildlife areas. After lunch at the resort, you'll explore Tharu village culture and visit the cultural museum with a naturalist guide. By evening, watch wildlife from the resort terrace at sunset, then enjoy traditional Tharu stick dance from local villagers before dinner.

- Day 9
Chitwan National Park
After breakfast you'll visit the Crocodile Conservation Project to learn about gavial crocodile breeding. Next you'll take a traditional patela boat tour on the Rapti River for about 45 minutes watching waterfowl and wildlife. After lunch, you'll go on a jeep safari through the wilderness for 2-3 hours to spot rhinos, deer, bison and possibly Bengal tigers.

Kathmandu to Dhulikhel
This morning you have the option to take a one-hour panoramic flight with a guaranteed window seat along the Himalayas toward Mount Everest. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, you'll drive to Dhulikhel, a Newari town surrounded by mountains where you can experience village life and fresh mountain air.

Dhulikhel to Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur
You'll take a guided tour of Bhaktapur, the former valley capital known for medieval architecture. You'll see Durbar Square, the Golden Gate created in 1753, the Palace of 55 Windows with rich wood carvings, and the Nyatapola Temple at over 30 meters tall. You'll also have a traditional Nepali meal (dal bhat) with a local Newar family in their home, learning about their farming lifestyle and enjoying fresh local food.
