We also met at Forest Hill at the conclusion of your safari to debrief on your experience, and at that time you expressed no issues apart from the flight to Zanzibar. Regarding the flight, while it is clearly stated in the itinerary that clients are responsible for booking their own flights, we understand that this information may not have been as clear as it could have been. Our guide Malissa made the safari so much better with his humorous, likeable manner. The food was always delicious I was glad to have had the 3 extra days safari in Zanzibar. 3 more great day trips with the guide Hussein He shone with his humor, expertise and spontaneous flexibility. Was able to take away a lot of interesting information about the islands Then 3 more weeks of kitesurfing fun in Paje?? All in all, the 9 day safari is highly recommended Unforgettable.Show more

The trip with the African Polecat Safari was amazing. Our ranger guide, Aaron, was incredible. I don’t know how he was able to spot all the animals that he pointed out to us. There were so many National Geographic moments such as a lioness trying to catch a gazelle and a mother gazelle saving her baby from a jackal. We saw a leopard and lions and cheetahs feeding. We saw many animals lounging and crossing the road in front of us. The camping was thankfully only for 3 nights. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the accommodations but it’s just not my cup of tea. I’m too old (72) to be sleeping on the ground.Show more

My sister and I took my children (ages 4 & 9) on a two week safari with African Polecat Safaris in northern Tanzania. It was the trip of a lifetime. Our hearts and minds were blown open by the people, culture, wildlife, history, art, and landscapes of Tanzania. This safari team was outstanding. The logistics and quality of the tour were excellent. Our guide and chef were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and experienced. They were also wonderful with the kids. We all have so many special memories from our adventures. We chose this safari company because we wanted our money to go directly to Tanzanians. This company is owned and operated by locals, as are their vendors and partners. We recommend them highly!Show more
