Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Cairo

    You'll land at Cairo airport where your tour representative meets you to help with customs. From there, an air-conditioned bus takes you to your 5-star hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is open for you to explore on your own, whether that's shopping, visiting museums, or just settling in and getting oriented.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo to Aswan

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Giza. First up is the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, then you'll see the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Later in the afternoon, you'll go to the train station to board the sleeping train heading to Aswan.

    Aswan

    You'll have breakfast on the train as it pulls into Aswan. Then you're off to Philae Island to see the Temple of Isis, followed by the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. After boarding your 5-star Nile cruise for lunch, you'll sail on a traditional felucca to visit the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener's Island. Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.

    Breakfast is served on board before you head out to Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeies. Lunch happens on the cruise, and you'll have the afternoon to relax on the ship. As you sail toward Edfu, you'll have afternoon tea on the upper deck and watch the Nile sunset. Later, there's dinner followed by an oriental show and Balabeya party.

  5. Day 5

    Luxor

    Starting with breakfast on board, you'll visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Lunch is served as the cruise continues toward Luxor, passing through the scenic Esna Lock. Once you arrive in Luxor, you'll explore the Luxor and Karnak Temples complex, including the Avenue of Sphinxes, Hypostyle Hall, obelisks, and the Sacred Lake. Back on the ship for dinner and a belly dance show.

    Luxor to Cairo

    After breakfast on board, you'll check out from the cruise and cross the Nile to the West Bank. There you'll see the Valley of Kings with its royal tombs and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. You'll also stop to view the Colossi of Memnon and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. In the afternoon, you head to the train station to board the sleeping train back to Cairo.

From there, you'll explore the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, and the Hanging Church. The day winds down with time to wander through Khan El Khalili bazaar before heading back to your hotel.
