    Asked on November 4th, 2024

We are over 59 years old, can we join this tour?

    Age Range
    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten November 2024

We would like to clarify that all ages are welcome to join our amazing trips! While we don't have strict age restrictions, we do provide guidelines to ensure everyone's comfort. Passengers that falls out of this age group (18-69) and traveling alone may find it beneficial to consider booking a private room. However, since you are travelling with a companion, you may disregard this policy, as it is recommended for solo travellers only.

    • R

      Rob

      TravelerWritten November 2024

I know we have to get Visas for Vietnam but read somewhere that if we enter Cambodia by boat that we have to get our Cambodian Visa upon entry. Is that correct?

    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten November 2024

Indeed, on the Cambodian border you will have your visa with your group, therefore you do not need to have an e-visa for Cambodia. The Cambodia E-visa WILL NOT WORK at this border checkpoint. If they plan to apply for a Cambodia visa, they have to apply for a proper visa stamp (on their passport) but not the E-visa.

    • R

      Rob

      TravelerWritten January 2025

How readily available are ATMs? I read dollars are widely accepted.....is that true?

    • Travel TalkOperatorWritten January 2025

ATMs are widely available in all three countries, especially in cities, tourist areas, and airports. However, some rural or remote areas may have limited access to ATMs. Vietnam: USD, not commonly accepted, except in hotels, some tourist shops, and high-end restaurants. Local currency (VND) is preferred. Cambodia: Yes, USD is widely accepted. Prices in tourist areas are often in USD, and Riel is used for small transactions. Thailand: Not widely accepted. Some tourist areas may take USD, but exchange rates are bad, so using Thai Baht (THB) is best.
