Whatever you are paying Aroura, it is not enough! I cannot recommend her or Bindlestiff Tours highly enough. The food was excellent, the accommodations were clean and reasonable, and all of the campgrounds were well maintained and had the amenities we needed. Our guide was absolutely amazing. She has a natural talent for customer service and consistently went out of her way to make sure every guest was comfortable. She always opened the van for us, checked in on everyone, and took the time to get to know each person individually. She was also extremely organized and did an excellent job balancing the needs of people who wanted to do serious hiking with those who either did not want to hike as much or were not able to. She kept us on or ahead of schedule and always found meaningful ways to fill any extra time with activities that were both scenic and educational. She followed all of the rules, was an incredibly safe driver, and carefully kept track of her driving hours. It was also clear that she has gone above and beyond to learn much more than the basic anecdotes about each national park. She shared interesting information about the parks, their history, and the cultures of the Native peoples whose lands we traveled through. Our guide truly made the trip special. Her professionalism, knowledge, organization, kindness, and genuine care for every person on the tour were outstanding. I would gladly travel with Bindlestiff again!Show more

We were anxious to fulfill our bucket list Grand Canyon visit and booked this tour in April, not expecting 100 degree temps at the end of August. Our tour turned out to be amazing. The group of 8 ranged in age from 20 to over 80(us), some campers and some hotel goers. We covered a well paced 2000 miles in an air conditioned van which was very comfortable. Our leader, Aurora Flores handled all with great humor and patience. She adapted experiences to skill levels of the tour members. She was full of stories and history that brought the Parks' spectacular scenery alive. Even the heat never became a big hurdle with frequent stops for water and restrooms. Antelope Canyon and the Charcuterie at Dead Horse Point were worthwhile extras. We recommend this tour highly. RShow more

A great way to see and experience some beautiful national parks without needing to plan out the drive and where to stay. Guide, Kaitlyn was fun, engaging, knowledgeable about the geography, geology, history and the parks/trails. She's also an excellent driver, with great music playlists. It's a lot of drive time to see all the parks but thankfully the van was fairly comfortable and there were frequent comfort stops. The lunches got a bit boring after a few days but was made better after adding some different options. This tour was a great way to see/hike as much as possible in the given time without needing any energy to drive anywhere afterward. Highly recommend!Show more

I felt the tour guide/driver was excellent and made our travel experience both educational and enjoyable. Also enjoyed interaction with the other travelers in our van. Overall, I thought the tour was very good. I was not impressed with the lunches and thought that there could be a better way for lunches to be presented. I do think that the additional costs could have been addressed in the initial sign up for the tour rather than carrying around a lot of cash to pay for them while on the tour. Too much cash to carry around. Nevertheless, I'm very glad that we took the tour with this company.Show more

Experiencing the canyons was on our "bucket list." Daunted by the tasks of arranging travel, driving unknown routes, securing ticketing, accommodations and everything else necessary, we kept putting this adventure off. We were leery of "packaged deals" and being grouped with travel companions we had never met before! When we saw the BINDLESTIFF 7-day southwest canyon small group tour, it seemed too good to be true, but we decided to take a chance in the hopes of making some everlasting memories. From pickup on Day 1 to our group's heartfelt goodbyes on Day 7, our guide "Sam" devoted himself to ensuring we all had a spectacular experience. He transported us safely, prearranged ticketed entries, preregistered our lodging (so individual check-in/out was not required), shopped daily for our picnic lunch items, and kept us well informed as we traveled to each new destination. His knowledge, sense of humor, and playlists made our time in the van pass easily. We made 11 new friends (from the USA, Australia, Switzerland, and Belgium) in just seven days, and our group toured together like family. This was our first multiday small group tour, and I am pleased to say it will not be our last!Show more
