Itinerary
- Day 1
Fuerteventura
You'll arrive in Fuerteventura and head to your accommodation to settle in. The Atlantic coast is right there, so after you drop your bags, consider taking a swim or walking along the beach. You'll see plenty of water sports action happening along the shore, which gives you a sense of what the island offers.

- Day 2
Puerto del Rosario - La Oliva
Start cycling north from Puerto del Rosario along coastal roads and paths. You'll pass through Puerto Lajas and Parque Holandes on your way to Corralejo, where there's a good spot to grab food in the old town. From there, head through the upper part of the Natural Park of the Dunes toward La Oliva. The ride finishes on solid paths through stony landscapes and dunes. This is about 55 km with 400 meters of climbing.

La Oliva - El Cotillo
Head out from Villaverde in La Oliva toward the nearby volcanoes, then drop down to Manjanicho, a quiet fishing village. After that, follow the coastal path to the lighthouse, which is a popular hiking spot. You'll reach El Cotillo next, a surfing destination with impressive golden sandy beaches. Return to La Oliva by riding through secluded sandstone gorges. Today is roughly 55 km with 500 meters of elevation gain.

La Oliva - Betancuria
You'll head back to the west coast and cycle south past Tindaya, the sacred mountain, toward Los Molinos. Then turn inland and ride through agricultural and cattle villages where Majorera goats roam around. Climb the Morro Velosa pass, which gets challenging, and arrive at Betancuria, a colonial town with real historical significance. This stage covers about 46 km and includes 900 meters of ascent.

- Day 5
Betancuria - Costa Calma
Continue south through a gorge to Vega del Río Palma, then take the scenic road to Pájara. You'll cycle along sections of the GR cross-island route, and later from La Pared you'll follow white sandy paths through desert landscape toward Costa Calma. The ride is approximately 50 km with 950 meters of climbing involved.

Costa Calma - Morro Jable
Shift from the west coast to the southeast side by cycling southward along paths, beaches, and gorges. There are several spots where you can stop and swim at some of the largest and nicest beaches in the Canary Islands. Climb up to Mirador de los Canarios viewpoint for excellent views of Cofete's wild beaches and the Jandía massif. You'll finish in Morro Jable, a tourist town. This stage is about 30 km with 570 meters of ascent.

Morro Jable - Jandía Peninsula - Faro de Jandía
Your final stage covers the Jandía peninsula and remote Cofete beaches, the wildest area on Fuerteventura with endless stretches ideal for surfers. Ride back up another hill on a wide, comfortable path to reach Faro de Jandía at the southern tip. Stop at the small port to try some fresh fish before heading north back to Morro Jable. This last ride is about 48 km with 950 meters of climbing.
