- Day 1
Kona
You'll arrive in Kona and get settled at your hotel. Depending on when your group shows up, there's a chance to join an evening manta ray snorkeling trip in Makako Bay, or you can do that tomorrow instead if the timing works better.

Landmarks Makako Bay Kona Coast - Day 2
Kona
After breakfast, you'll start exploring Kona's cultural side. Head to the Coffee Shack to grab fresh Kona coffee and chat with locals, then drive to Kahaluu Beach Park where you can snorkel and look for sea turtles. From there, you'll hike up to the Captain Cook Monument and check out Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. Later, you'll have another snorkeling session in the evening.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Mauna Kea
You'll drive south to South Point for cliff diving, then head to Punalu'u Beach to relax on the black sand. In the afternoon, you'll explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and see Mauna Loa and Kilauea. You'll walk through the Jagger Museum, check out Thurston Lava Tube, and do the Kilauea Illi Trail hike if it's open. By evening, you'll end up at Mauna Kea visitor center at 4,207 meters (13,802 feet) for stargazing.

Hamakua Coast - Hilo
You'll drive to Waipi'o Valley to see Hi'ilawe Waterfall dropping 1,450 feet down the cliffs. Walk through the Valley of Kings with its rainforest and sea cliffs, then head to Wailuku River State Park near Hilo to visit Rainbow Falls. After that, you'll hike at the World Botanical Gardens and stop by Akaka Falls State Park and UmaUma Falls.
