Budapest
You'll arrive at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport and get a complimentary transfer to your hotel. At 18:00, meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group before heading to Gundel restaurant for your Welcome Dinner. The meal features Hungarian specialties paired with local wines.

Budapest
Start the day driving along Budapest's grand boulevards toward Heroes' Square, then cross to the Buda side where your Local Expert guides you through medieval streets. You'll see Matthias Church and walk up to Fisherman's Bastion for views overlooking Parliament. After stopping at a traditional strudel house to watch pastry chefs work, try fresh strudel with coffee. The rest of your day is free to wander Budapest. An optional evening aperitif or Danube dinner cruise is available.

Budapest to Vienna
Travel north along the Danube to Esztergom, where Hungary's largest Catholic church sits as the main attraction. Continue west to Győr, a charming town at the meeting point of three rivers. From there, you'll cross into Austria and head to Vienna. Later, have dinner with a local family who share stories about life in the city.

Vienna
A Local Expert leads a private guided visit through Schönbrunn Palace and its formal gardens, which you'll explore at your own pace. Afterward, you'll take a drive around Vienna's famous Ring Road to see major landmarks like the Opera House, Hofburg Imperial Residence, Austrian Parliament Building, and Karlskirche. By afternoon, your time becomes free to do as you like.

Explore Vienna on your own terms. Start at St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of Europe's great Gothic buildings, or browse Kärntnerstrasse's shops. If you're interested, you can cross into Slovakia and visit Bratislava for the day. Your Travel Director has recommendations for local attractions and restaurants as you make the most of the long summer evening.

Cross into the Czech Republic and reach Český Krumlov, where your Travel Director provides an orientation tour of this medieval town. You'll have time to wander the traffic-free cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses, see the castle above town, and take in views of the Vltava River. Later, travel through the green Bohemian countryside toward Prague. Dinner features traditional Czech food at a local restaurant.
