You'll arrive in Marrakesh and connect with your travel group. After settling into your accommodation, the evening is yours to relax and soak in the local atmosphere. Casablanca

Later you'll head toward Casablanca, and once you arrive, walking along the cornice lets you take in the coastal views and feel the Atlantic breeze.

Rabat - Chefchaouen
This morning focuses on Casablanca's elegant Moorish architecture and the Hassan II Mosque, which is Africa's largest functioning mosque. From there you'll drive to Rabat to see the Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, and the royal palace. The day continues into Chefchaouen, where the famous blue-painted buildings and Place Outa Hamam set the tone for exploring the local markets and soaking in the mountain town vibe.

Volubilis - Fes
After breakfast you'll travel toward Fes with a stop at Volubilis, Morocco's largest ancient site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A local guide walks you through the Roman ruins, sharing history as you go. You'll then drive through the Rif mountains toward Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco, and check in to your hotel by evening.

Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud
Heading into the High Atlas Mountains, you'll stop in the towns of Ifrane and Midelt to break up the drive. The peaks around you get higher as you move through North Africa's highest mountain range. By evening you'll reach Erfoud, an oasis town where the Sahara Desert begins, and have dinner there.

Merzouga
Morning includes a home visit where local Berber families share their hospitality and mint tea. You'll then stop in Rissani for lunch and the chance to swim if you want. When evening comes, you'll trade the coach for camels and trek into the Sahara for sunset, followed by a traditional Berber feast inside a tent.

The route of 1000 kasbahs takes you through dramatic landscape, and you'll pause for lunch at the beautiful Tinghir oasis. Todra Gorge offers hiking and depending on season, date palm walks or rock climbing. You'll visit Tatefy, a women's cooperative in Dades Valley known for tea and baked goods, then finish at Ouarzazate, the famous filming location for Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator.
