Itinerary
- Day 1
Perth
You'll meet your Travel Director and Local Expert Guide to kick off your Perth city tour. Start by walking through Kings Park where spring wildflowers are on display, then head to the Western Australian Botanic Garden which holds over 3,000 native species. The park itself is home to more than 70 bird species, so bring your binoculars if you're interested in birdwatching. This evening, you'll join the group for dinner.

- Day 2
Perth to Kalbarri
You'll travel north from Perth toward Kalbarri, taking in the scenic views during the drive. Once there, you'll visit a local distillery to learn how they produce their distinctive spirits. You get to wander between barrels and then participate in tastings to sample what they've made.

- Day 3
Kalbarri
In Kalbarri National Park, you'll walk the Kalbarri Skywalk, a narrow platform that extends 25 metres out over the gorge rim, standing 100 metres above the Murchison River. The red-and-white sandstone cliffs are dramatic and worth the careful steps. An Indigenous guide meets you to share stories about the land, bushfoods, traditional medicine plants, and what it's like growing up on country.

- Day 4
Kalbarri to Geraldton
This morning takes you to Lynton Station, a historic former convict depot and homestead built in 1853 with limestone structures still standing. Later, you'll see Hutt Lagoon, a large saltwater lake that shifts colors depending on salinity levels, from bubblegum pink to lilac to red. By evening, you'll reach the HMAS Sydney Memorial above Geraldton, a solemn site honoring the ship's crew.

Geraldton
With your Local Expert Guide, you'll explore the Midwest's landscapes and learn about the region's wildflower species, which number over 12,000. Your guide will explain the names, traditional uses, and medicinal properties of Western Australian wildflowers. Later, you'll visit Helen Ansell Art Gallery to see vibrant paintings of native flora and fauna, then walk through the town of Mullewa. Before the day ends, you'll head to Coleseam Conservation Park for a guided experience through its diverse species and natural features.

Mullewa to Nambung to Perth
At Nambung National Park, you'll walk among The Pinnacles, dramatic limestone pillars rising from yellow sand in a lunar-like setting. These formations were created millions of years ago as seashells broke down and eroded into the spires you see. After exploring, you'll drive back to Perth and have a farewell dinner with your Travel Director and fellow travelers.
