I organize a spiritual pilgrimage for my meditation students (6-8 people in their 60's) for 10 days. We are interested in staying 5 days near Osaka. Please help us make a program with a budget in double room, breakfast and dinner. Including: The most ancient Buddhist and Shinto temples near Osaka, some castle, gardens, in Osaka a visit to receive a health diagnosis with a Chinese doctor, if possible a Japanese dance show and if possible to meet a Shinto priestess. We need a guide in English. The hotels can be 2 or 3 stars, if possible sleep some days in a temple or monastery or very close.

August is the hottest month of the year in Japan, and a peak domestic travel season with schools being closed for summer holidays. We recommend avoiding August. December is rather cold (start of winter, 4 - 12 celsius). We will tentatively provide a quote for the beginning of December.

    • Tweet World TravelOperatorWritten May 2022

The quoted price is $2,899 USD per person twin share, based on a group of 8 adult travellers. We cannot provide a quote with temple and monastery lodging as most are closed due to Covid-19. Our quote is based on city hotels. Gion Corner (Day 3) is temporarily closed. Health Diagnosis is not included in our quotation. The price varies depending on hospital/facilities, around $2500 - $3000 per person.
