    Asked on January 13th, 2025

We are looking at adding Peru on our itinerary after a trip to Antarctica. Can you advise if this tour is suitable for people with a standard international suitcase?

    • ContikiOperatorWritten January 2025

Luggage allowance: A single bag with size: 29"x20"x10" (73x50x25cm), weight: 44 lbs. (20kg). Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12"x11"x6" (30x28x14cm) to fit under your coach seat or in the small overhead compartment.

One more query, are there laundry facilities in any of the accommodation spots? As mentioned, we are doing Antarctica and won't have excessive summer wear.

    • ContikiOperatorWritten January 2025

The good news is, lots of our accommodation offers laundry facilities so you don't need to be known as the traveller with stinky socks. There is a small fee for laundry services and detergent (top tip: if you want to be super saving savvy, bring some laundry powder with you). If your accommodation doesn't have a laundry service and you're really desperate, just ask your Trip Manager to help you find a local laundrette.
