We are 2 adults who would like to join a group tour of Chiapas. We have from 23rd March to 1st April inclusive and would like to do a tour that starts and finishes in Tuxla airport. The Chiapas explorer tour looks good for us but it is only 6 days and ends in Villahermosa. Do you have any suggestions for an add on tour or longer tour that would fit our requirements?

Sadly, we don't have a tour that starts and ends in Tuxtla.

Does it include transfer from Tuxtla Gutierrez airport to the hotel? It looks like one is going to Sumidero Canyon the date of arrival?

The program starts from the airport as it is mentioned. Your flight would need to arrive before 1:00 pm in order to take place on the Sumidero Canyon excursion and then afterwards have a transfer to the hotel; otherwise, if your flight arrives later than 1pm, you would miss the Sumidero excursion and a private transfer would need to be programmed to take you to the hotel. This private transfer is not included in the program. You would then join the rest of the program on the following day.

You would have to search for flights to Tuxtla Gutierrez Chiapas, Mexico airport. Depending on your destination, you can find direct flights, however, most of them have stopovers.
