  We really liked the tour. Our guide Shaun was amazing, very caring and adaptive. The itinerary was well structured and we managed to see feels like most of the country. The food was amazing and we really liked the lodges. Though we had a little issue with the hotel Shaun and the tour company managed to resolve the issue very quickly. I’d definitely recommend going on a tour.Show more

  This tour was excellent, and my tour guide, Shawn, was a fantastic guide. He really new the best times to hit the road, climb the dunes, and see the wildlife in Etosha Park. There is definitely a lot to see in a short amount of time, so there was a lot of driving involved (which is unavoidable). Shawn is a professional, and he new exactly which roads to take and where to see the best sights. We arrived at the sand dunes in Sossusvlei at the perfect hour, before it became too crowded and too hot to hike. While in Etosha National Park, he communicated with the park rangers and other guides to ensure we had the best view of the lions, elephants, rhinos and giraffes. Shawn was upfront about the additional costs (lunch is not included, and alcohol and water are not included at dinner). I also signed up for a sand dunes tour of Sandwhich Harbor, which is at an additional cost and not included on the tour. The tour includes a stop at Walvis Bay and an overnight at Swakupmond, but a sand dunes excursion at Sandwhich Harbor is a must-see and should be included as part of the tour. Overall, this was an excellent tour and we covered a lot of ground in only 5 days.Show more

  The local tour operator was very, very nice and covered expenses we thought we were responsible for, especially lunches and snacks. The tour guide was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable; one lodge was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.Show more

  Tour was good - distances are significant though .. would eliminate Walvisbay to spend a bit more time in Swakopmund....
  Tour was good - distances are significant though .. would eliminate Walvisbay to spend a bit more time in Swakopmund. Some discussions with the guide about what expenses were included or not (eg lunches) - this should be made clear upfront, but all in all a good time!Show more
