You can see all the included items on a tour booking page; Meet the Sámi and their reindeer activity is included in the price. Unfortunately, the Aurora hunt is not included.

Can we get 1 private room for just our family? The info says shared room for 4-8 people and we want to make sure we get our own room for just our family.

Unfortunately, we are not able to pre-book the rooms, just the whole cabin. As in the tour base price only shared accommodation is included, the private accommodation can only be booked for an extra fee, and per individual requests. The fee may vary, depending on a tour, date, and availability - usually it is between 300-600 Eur.

We are booked on trip from 22 Dec to 29 Dec . Other than the 3 nights in Kilpisjarvi and 2 nights in Bjorkliden, we do not need to book any other of our own accomodation during the 8 days .trip ? I am assuming some of the nights are sleeping on the bus trip itself ?

The clothing can be booked and returned only at the same destination. As you do have a few destinations during your tour, you will be able to book separate clothing in each of them, but not the same clothing for the whole tour. Your guide will provide you with more information on your arrival day.

This tour is a good way to access some very remote locations in Finland, Sweden, and Norway, which would otherwise be difficult to reach independently. The activities themselves can be enjoyable when they run as planned and are not cancelled. However, there were several major downsides. The accommodation was not as advertised, which was disappointing. A significant portion of the trip involved very long bus rides, and at times it felt like we spent more time on the bus than actually exploring the destinations. Considering the cost, the overall experience did not provide good value for money. Personally, I would not recommend this tour.Show more

Despite your guide best effort, it’s a pity that the weather was not on your side and it prevented from some activities to be operated. In such a situation, it’s the guide decision if an activity should run or not according to his/her best judgement on the feasibility and safety to operate it. During your trip, the bus could not even drive via the usual road from Finland to Sweden but was forced to detour via Kiruna lower land road for safety reasons. Regarding the trip page. Indeed, when joining a new trip that you have never experienced before, the information on its page is essential to prepare properly. Even though on your trip page the information was accurate, we wish to improve it. I’ve shared your feedback with my colleagues in charge of the Grand Lapland trip organisation to review how the information about your trip journey and accommodation can be improved. Please, let me add that I understand your consideration about the bus journey part, I joined a few of our trips and I agree with you that the departure place is a key factor. I’m sorry you could not select the departure from Rovaniemi / arrival to Rovaniemi.   We can split the payment into two halves, but the second half must be paid 21 days before the trip. In TourRadar you can create a booking and split it into an invoice for each traveler. 10-14 days before the trip we will send a link to choose accommodation. The first of them who receives the email can choose accommodation for them. Normally accommodations are 7-8 person. They will share with other people.
