Are Machu Picchu tickets available for the June 6th departure? Can you assist with booking internal flights if we decide to book the tour?

    Tour Details
    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten May 2026

Machu Picchu entrance tickets for the June 6th departure are unfortunately sold out due to high demand during this season. We would recommend starting the trip towards the end of June when we still have availability, or considering travel dates for next year. Regarding domestic flights, yes we can absolutely assist with arranging the internal flights in Peru if you decide to proceed with the booking.

Do you guys have the machu pichu entrance tickets available

    Price / Availability
    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten May 2026

Yes, we still have some availability for Machu Picchu entrance tickets for 2 adults; however, the available spaces are currently for the end of June due to the high demand

      TravelerWritten May 2026

CAn you please do something for us in early june please please we really want to visit and that is only time we can

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten May 2026

Currently, due to the very high demand for Machu Picchu tickets during June, availability is extremely limited, especially for the most recommended circuits. However, one possible option could be adding 3 extra days to your itinerary for traveling to Aguas Calientes (the town near Machu Picchu). This is the place where tickets are sold directly in person. While we unfortunately cannot guarantee availability through this option, many travelers choose this alternative when online tickets are sold out.

I see that there is a 40% fee for cancellation inside 60 days. Is a 100% refund given if we needed to cancel with 61 days or more before the tour start?

    Payments
    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten May 2026

Yes, our cancellation policies begin to apply within 60 days prior to the tour departure date. This is because, at that point, we start making all the necessary arrangements and reservations for your trip, including purchasing entrance tickets and transportation. Some services, especially the Machu Picchu entrance tickets, are issued under each traveler's name and are non-transferable and non-refundable according to government regulations.

For this reason, cancellations made within 60 days of the tour are subject to the cancellation fee mentioned in our policy. However, if you need to cancel 61 days or more before the tour start date, we will gladly provide a full refund of your deposit with respect to the tour price.

    Asked on April 29th, 2026

Can tourists actually walk to Machu Pichu? I see pictures of people standing on a hill looking down on it; I want to walk to it and see it closely. Is the two-hour walk to Rainbow Mountain strenuous? Will it be snow covered in August?

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten April 2026

You are most likely referring to Huayna Picchu , the mountain you often see in photos where visitors stand above Machu Picchu and enjoy a panoramic view.
Your tour includes access to the Machu Picchu citadel, where the terrain is mostly flat with some stairs, allowing you to walk through the site and see it up close.
If you would like to enhance your experience, you can add Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain. This mountain offers spectacular panoramic views.

Regarding Rainbow Mountain, the hike is about 2 hours and can be considered moderately strenuous due to the altitude. In August, it is usually dry season, so snow is not common, but temperatures can be cold, especially in the early morning.

    Asked on March 26th, 2026

Is there an itinerary I can view? Are all meals included? What quality of hotels or accommodations are included? Are english speaking tour guides a part of the tour the whole time? Is airport to hotel transport included? Does the tour begin in Lima or does this include the flight to Lima? I noticed a triple room when I clicked on it it said only 2 travelers allowed so is that an error as there are other rooms for parties of 2. We are a party of 3.

Itinerary: Yes, of course! A detailed day-by-day itinerary is available, and you can download the brochure directly from the main page for full details. Meals: The tour includes several meals (mainly breakfasts and some lunches depending on the day). Not all meals are included, giving you flexibility to explore local restaurants as well. Hotels: We offer comfortable 3-star hotels (with the option to upgrade to 4-star if you prefer). All accommodations are carefully selected for quality, location, and service. Tour guides: Yes, all guided tours are conducted by professional English-speaking guides. Please note that the guide is included during excursions and tours, not during free time. Transportation: Yes, all airport pick-up and drop-off transfers are included, as well as transportation for all scheduled activities. Tour starting point: The tour begins in Lima. International flights to Lima are not included, but we can certainly assist you with recommendations if needed. Triple room: Thank you for pointing that out! That is likely a system display issue — we can absolutely accommodate 3 travelers in a triple room (usually with 3 beds or 1 double + 1 single). I will personally make sure this is arranged correctly for you.

Although Machu Picchu is a part of the tour do you mean people on the tour won't get entry into the site because all tickets are already taken?

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten March 2026

The announcement regarding the lack of Machu Picchu tickets applies only to new travelers who are trying to make a reservation now. For passengers who booked in advance, we have already secured your Machu Picchu tickets, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Your visit is fully confirmed and will proceed as planned. At the moment, Machu Picchu tickets are completely sold out for much of April and May across all circuits. For new reservations, the best option would be to choose travel dates from May 27 onwards, when availability begins to open again, or consider planning the trip for next year to ensure full availability and a better experience.

    Asked on March 15th, 2026

How would upgrades work? Would options be available and if so when would this need to be confirmed? If arrival is day prior to start of tour, is transportation available from airport to hotel?

    Accommodation
    Flights / Transfers
    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten March 2026

Regarding your question about hotel upgrades, yes, it is possible to upgrade some of the accommodations included in the itinerary. For example, we could offer the following upgraded options:
? Cusco: Hotel Dazzler by Wyndham or a similar hotel of the same category.
? Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town): Hotel Jaya Machu Picchu or a similar option.
? Sacred Valley / Cusco area: Hotel Sonesta or a similar category hotel.
However, please note that the lodge in Puerto Maldonado (Amazon area) cannot be upgraded, as the lodge included in the program has fixed accommodation options. Yes, of course. If you arrive one day before the tour begins, we can arrange airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel in Lima. You just need to add the pre accommodation.

      TravelerWritten March 2026

Do you need to know of decision on upgrades at time of booking? Also, do any of the optional bookings also need to be known at time of booking or can they be added on later?

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten March 2026

There is no need to confirm the optional extras at the time of booking. You can absolutely decide and add them later if you wish. For now, you may proceed with confirming the tour reservation, and once everything is arranged, we can review together any upgrades or additional activities you might like to include.

Is the tour available starting the 11th March 2026 for two people. Also can you please provide details of the cancellation policy.

    Price / Availability
    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, the departure starting on March 11th, 2026 is currently available for 2 adults. However, please note that March is a high-demand season, and availability for Machu Picchu tickets, train services, and hotels is limited. For this reason, we kindly recommend completing your reservation as soon as possible so we can guarantee your spaces immediately.

      Cancellation Policy and Penalties:
60–30 days before departure: 40% of the total tour price
29–7 days before departure: 60% of the total tour price
Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total tour price

Tickets to Machu Picchu Citadel, as well as additional accesses to Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, and the Inca Trail, are regulated by the Ministry of Culture of Peru. These tickets are issued in the passenger's name, non-transferable, non-modifiable (name, date, or time), and non-refundable under any circumstances. Due to their high demand, these tickets are usually purchased well in advance. If a passenger confirms the trip and any of these tickets have already been reserved, and subsequently decides to cancel, the cost of such tickets must be fully assumed by the passenger — even if the cancellation occurs outside the general penalty period.

Your departures info shows departures every day in May. How is that possible with group tours? What am I missing?

    • Waman AdventuresOperatorWritten February 2026

Our tours operate daily and are guaranteed from just one traveler, so there is no need to wait for more participants to confirm the trip. However, if you would prefer to join a group on specific dates, I would be more than glad to share with you the dates where other travelers are already confirmed, so you can choose the option that best suits you.
