What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on December 14th, 2023I will be traveling with a large suitcase and a backpack, is that an issue for this tour given we have a four day hike. Or do we have somewhere we can store our bags during that portion?
GUIDEcuador TravelOperator•Written December 2023It will be uncomfortable for you to be with the suitcase during the hike, so you can leave your baggage at the office of our supplier at Santa Marta until we return, or if you preffer you could ask to the hotel where you will be staying to take care of them until your return.

Asked on April 25th, 2023How much more expensive is it to get a private room for all the accommodations that we stay in? Also, what is the list of the accommodations that we do stay in.
GUIDEcuador TravelOperator•Written April 2023In Santa Marta we use Bonita Bay Hotel (is a private room). For the lost city trek, we can't offer a private room since the entire area only has basecamps with bunk beds. Finally in Cartagena, we use Ibis Hotel.

Traveler•Written April 2023What is the accommodation like in the basecamp for the lost city trek? Also, is the private room in the Bonita Bay Hotel just for me and the person I'm doing the tour with or will there be anyone else on the tour on it? Further, is there a private room for the Ibis Hotel for me and the person I'm booking the tour with?
GUIDEcuador TravelOperator•Written April 2023The camp accommodation is very basic (even shared toilets for all groups) as I told you you will sleep on individual bunk bed for the entire trek towards to lost city. If you need a single room for both of you, the price change (you can see this price if you click on payments, there you have the option as single supplement room or twin room). Again at Ibis and Bonita Bay it will be a private twin standard for both of you unless you want to change and upgrade to Single room for an additional price.
