We have been on the Ausangate Trail (4 days / 3 nights) incl. Rainbow Mountains and descent via Red Valley. It was a spectacular trek and not even strenuous also it was always above 4.000 meters. Our guide Felipe was so helpful and flexible to all our wishes. ... and we had 'el mago' with us, Samuel our cook, was also incredible: We had pizza and torte on a trek!!!! It was also great fun to play soccer in the evenings with the guys,... also they were way better. All in all it was absolutely professional and I would strongly recommend to make a tour with Alpaca Expeditions.Show more

Finished an amazing 4D/3N Ausangate/Rainbow Mountain with Alpaca Expedition. Our guide Osman is very energetic, knowledgeable and responsible. We encountered a snowstorm on the third day right after we got to our camp site. Osman and his team managed to set up the tents for everyone in a short time, so we didn’t have to stand in the snowstorm. Our final day after reaching rainbow mountain, he took us to a different route (even paid for everyone’s tickets) with a much better view! Also, he took good pics and boomerang. Food on the way is always on point! Hats off to the chef! Great view and great team!Show more

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Alpaca Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Alpaca Expeditions will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Alpaca Expeditions" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Alpaca Expeditions. Please familiarize yourself with the Alpaca Expeditions payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
