- Day 1
Cairo
Your Ancient Egypt Tours representative will be waiting at the airport with a sign and will drive you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so if you arrive early, you can relax at the hotel or arrange an extra night for immediate access to your room.

- Day 2
Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide meets you for a full day on the Giza Plateau. You'll see the three Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, plus the Great Sphinx. Next comes the Valley Temple dedicated to King Chephren, then lunch at a local restaurant. Later you'll head to the Egyptian Museum to check out Pharaonic antiquities, King Tutankhamen's treasure room, and jewelry from over 3,500 years ago.

Cairo to Luxor
You'll have breakfast, then head to the domestic airport for your flight to Luxor. After you arrive, your representative meets you and you'll head to Aswan. Since check-in isn't before 14:00, you'll have time to tour Karnak Temple, a massive complex covering more than 2 square kilometers with sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons, and obelisks built over 1,500 years. Then you'll visit Luxor Temple, mostly built by Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II. After lunch, you'll board your Nile cruise.

Luxor to Edfu
You'll disembark and explore Luxor's west bank. First, the Valley of the Kings, where 63 royal tombs are carved into the isolated valley with Al Qurn mountain dominating the landscape. Then you'll see the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir Al Bahri, dramatically carved into limestone cliffs that rise 300 meters above the desert. Next are the Colossi of Memnon, two statues standing 18 meters high. After lunch, you'll sail toward Edfu.

Edfu to Kom Ombo to Aswan
You'll arrive at Edfu and visit the Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt and dedicated to Horus. It was built between 237 and 57 BC, and the roof is still intact, making it one of the most atmospheric ancient buildings. From there, you'll sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which was uniquely dedicated to two gods—the crocodile god Sobek and Horus the Elder. Then you'll continue sailing to Aswan.

Aswan
You'll explore Aswan's ancient sites, starting with Philae Temple, built to honor the goddess Isis and constructed around 690 BC. Next is the Unfinished Obelisk in the Northern Quarries, a 42-meter granite monument that shows how ancient Egyptians worked with stone. Then you'll tour the modern Aswan High Dam, located 13 kilometers south of the city, which created Lake Nasser. After, you'll return to your cruise ship.

Aswan to Cairo
You'll have breakfast on board the cruise before leaving the ship. From there, you'll transfer to Aswan airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Your representative will meet you upon arrival and drive you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

- Day 8
Cairo to Alexandria
After breakfast, your representative picks you up for the drive to Alexandria, about 210 kilometers away, known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. You'll visit Montazah Palace and Gardens with 317 acres of trees and flowers, then see Pompey's Pillar built in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Next are the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels cut into rock. After lunch, you'll drive along the Cornish, cross the Stanley Bridge, visit the Qaitbay Citadel built on the ancient lighthouse site, and end at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina library.

Alexandria to Cairo
After breakfast, you'll transfer back to Cairo by air-conditioned car. Once there, you'll visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din for panoramic views of the city. Next is the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, the largest mosque built in the early 19th century in Turkish style. After lunch at a high-quality restaurant, you'll explore Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church from the 3rd-4th centuries, Abu Sirga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue from the 15th century. You'll finish with the Amr Ibn El-aas Mosque, Egypt's first mosque, and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East.

Memphis - Dahshur)
Following breakfast, your representative picks you up to see Cairo's most significant ancient sites. You'll visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure built around 2630 BC, plus the Museum of Imhotep and tombs of high officials and kings. After lunch at a local Giza restaurant, you'll travel to Memphis, founded by King Menes as Egypt's first capital and a center of rule and culture for over 3,000 years. You'll see the alabaster Sphinx and a 16-meter Statue of Ramses II. Finally, you'll visit Dahshur's royal necropolis about 40 kilometers from Cairo, exploring the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid of King Snefru.

Departure from Cairo
