We have historically observed an upper limit of seventy-five years, born primarily of a sincere concern for the physical rigors required to traverse the cultural landscapes of Vietnam. However, having learned of your husband's remarkable vigor and his devotion to the sport of cycling, we find it most fitting to waive such restrictions in your case.

Is there a luggage limit for this trip?

If you have one or two pieces of luggage, we can still accommodate you. Although we don't have a strict luggage limit, two suitcases/person is usually the maximum for our trips to ensure everyone's comfort.

Do you pick up anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City on day 1 and drop off anywhere on the final day?

Regarding your question, we have included pick-up from your requested hotel on Day 1 and drop-off at your preferred location on the final day of the tour.

Are there e-bikes available for your tours?

We are confident you'll have a comfortable and enjoyable cycling experience through the Mekong Delta on our e-bikes. Our current model is the Twitter E300 Pro. To ensure your ride is as comfortable as possible, please provide us with your height. This will allow us to adjust the bike's soft gel seat, high stem, large pedals, and handlebar bag to fit you perfectly.

Do you have a group on this date? We want to go on January and also we want to travel around Asia, Thai and Camboja too. Do you suggest initiated on Vietnam?

It was the perfect combination for the foodie cycling enthusiast, made so by our attentive, anticipatory, planful guide Loc and driver. Hydration was very important for riding off season in tremondous heat, and each stop was timed perfectly. Loc not only shared elements of the landscape and culture through several authentic experiences but also a variety of foods. He listed to our every need and made a vaiety of roadside fruits available along with the several roadside food stalls, which were all excellent. Loc is the consumate guide who takes great care in the safety and satisfaction of riders. I would 100% recommend Loc as a guide as he genuinely delighted in sharing his country, culture and food with us. Thank you Loc and Vietnam by Bike. We will be back.Show more

We had such an incredible time on our 5 day biking trip around the Mekong Delta. We got to see parts of Vietnam that we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to experience. Biking through local villages, rice farms, fish farms, noodle making businesses and lots more. It was amazing. The local people we met along the way were just gorgeous. So many hellos, high 5’s, children biking alongside next to us and we were even given beer and food when we stopped to take photos at a local wedding. The Vietnamese people work so hard, have very little but are happy and content. Every day was different and our guide ‘Danny’ gave us options of biking longer distances if we wanted to. We couldn’t resist the temptation to do more!! The accomodation each night was far better than we had anticipated and there was always so much food. Fruit and water were also provided every time you stopped for a break. We will take away many happy memories from this special trip and couldn’t recommend it more highly.Show more

Our 5 day cycling adventure in the MeKong Delta was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience. Surprisingly, it was just me, my husband, our guide, Lok, and the driver. We were incredibly well looked after. It was 35 degrees every day and we are not young people so it was good to know the air-conditioned van was always an option, if necessary. All meals were at local, non-touristy eateries and the food was always interesting and delicious. There were several cold tea and water breaks for rest and hydration. The rice paddies, fruit trees, jungles, villages and people of the Mekong Delta are beautiful beyond imagination. We learned a great deal about industry and way of life in the Delta and observed first hand the harvesting of fruit and rice and the operations of the fish farming industry. The cycling itself is easy and mostly on flat paved pathways through interesting villages and agricultural lands. We were seldom on roads with cars. At the end of each day’s cycling we were handed a nice cold can of Saigon beer which was a very welcome treat . Lok was extremely knowledgeable on the culture, industry, politics and history of Vietnam and took us to spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Finally, the trip is incredible value for the price. I highly recommend this 5 Day Cycling Tour.Show more

Thanh Ut (guide) and Nanh (driver) were phenomenal. Best holiday I have had in years. Cycled the small roads and lanes through villages and farms. Thanh adjusted the distance and pace to suit me. Stopped at many historic sites and Thanh knew the history. Nanh was always waiting in the van with a cool towel, fruit and each day a cold beer. It was a great experience to discover Vietnam via bike. Leo and Dang were really kind. Our guide Leo provided a lot of background information and adopted stops and breaks according to our needs. The bikes were good and everything worked out very well. The local food was delicious. They always found a vegetarian dish as well. Be aware that dinner is only included on 2 days. But since it is not too expensive to find something and it is also nice to the discover the surrounding of the hotel, it was ok. The hotels were really nice and above standard. The tour was not too exhausting. We extended the distance on the last day. Looking back we should have done this on the other days as well, to reduce the bus transfer times.Show more

- Cholera - Recommended for Vietnam. Ideally 2 weeks before travel.
- Tuberculosis - Recommended for Vietnam. Ideally 3 months before travel.
- Hepatitis B - Recommended for Vietnam. Ideally 2 months before travel.
- Rabies - Recommended for Vietnam. Ideally 1 month before travel.
- Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an area with a risk of yellow fever transmission for Vietnam. Ideally 10 days before travel.
- Japanese B encephalitis - Recommended for Vietnam. Ideally 1 month before travel.
Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Vietnam By Bike. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vietnam By Bike will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Vietnam By Bike" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Vietnam By Bike. Please familiarize yourself with the Vietnam By Bike payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
