All activities and transportation are included in the package. Activities will be shared with a small group of up to 16 travelers, accompanied by a certified English-speaking local guide. Accommodation in well-located standard hotels on Isabela and Santa Cruz is included. Not included are the Galapagos Entrance Fees ($200 USD per person) and the Transit Control Card ($20 USD per person). Flights to the Galapagos are not included in the itinerary. I can add them for you or suggest the best options from/to Baltra Airport.

I cannot swim. Will I be able to sit out or do alternative activities while snorkeling/swimming is happening? Are life jackets provided?

Your activities include both hiking and snorkeling. For your snorkeling activities, you will always be accompanied by a certified naturalist guide who will ensure your safety and comfort. You will be provided with a life jacket or life ring, which will allow you to float effortlessly and enjoy the experience without needing to swim. Additionally, your expert guide will offer personalized assistance and support throughout the excursions to Los Tuneles and Las Tintoreras on Day #2 and Day #4. Both locations are within protected bays with calm, shallow waters, making them ideal for you if you need extra security. If you feel unsure, the guide can provide flotation devices or assist you in holding onto a buoy while observing the marine life. Your safety and enjoyment are the top priorities, and the team will ensure you feel comfortable at all times.

The number of suitcases is not a problem and there is no recharge because you will go on speedboats with one of my best local naturalist guides who will be more than thrilled to help you and your boyfriend.

I will be travelling solo and ideally looking to join a group tour. I noticed there are departures every day; does this mean it's private rather than shared tour?

My friend and I made a last minute decision to head to the Galapagos and found Tour Radar to coordinate our trip. It was fantastic! It was certainly helpful to have insider knowledge since we had little time to do our own research. When we did have questions (and we did pretty much every day!) I have to give tremendous credit to Tour Radar’s local contact, Jeferson Paucar at Responsible Travel. I don’t think he is ever away from his work because he always immediately answered my DM’s no matter what time of day or night. He was outstanding. As for the trip itself, Galapagos is just magical. Isabela was our favorite island due to its smaller town size, beautiful beaches and friendly vibe. Snorkeling was incredibly amazing with the clearest water. We did the 6 hour Sierra Negra volcano hike. The hike up and back is a bit of a grind, but the enormity of the caldera and the hike down the other side into the lava flow area is amazing. Please bring LOTS of water and some bars. It is described as a 6 hour hike and it is just that. As an avid trail runner and hiker, I was expecting a lot of stopping along the way and thought I might feel slowed down. That was definitely not the case!Show more

We had a great time on this tour. Stephan greeted us and brought us on tour of tortoise reserve and Chsrles Darwin Centre. He was excellent, informative and looked after us well. Second day on Tintoreas was our first experience of snorkeling. Carlos could have been more patient. But on day 3 In Tunneles Darwin was superb. He looked after us well, was so enthusiastic and also took great photos which he shared with us. Julio took us to the crater on a good hike on day four. Again he was so knowledgeable and we got to see it after hiking through the mist. Accommodation in Postale de Mar an La Jungla was excellent with nothing too much trouble for the great hostsShow more

  As you will have different flights to arrive on the islands it is not necessary to be in a group for the transfers in and out. The perk of having a private transfer is that if you have a delayed flight your driver assigned will be waiting for you at the airport until your arrival. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
