We offer an any day departure for groups of 8 or more paid seats that doesn't mean there has to be 8 guests in your party, it just means you have to pay for a minimum of 8 paid seats to have a fully private adventure - please inquire if you think this option is a good fit for you.

We provide tents, thick foam pads and all other equipment except a sleeping bag, which you can bring your own or rent one with your guide for $40 on day one (advanced notification required).

The following items are included with the tour cost: thick foam camping pad, use of a two-person tent (if you are a solo traveler, you will be paired with a tent partner of the same gender). There is a local food kitty payment- upon payment of your local $80 food kitty we include breakfast-they are lite breakfasts, muffin, fruit or cereal with tea or coffee. The food kitty includes evening meals- your tour guide will suggest menus and help shop for food items. Meals are cooked in camp as a communal effort. You will be expected to help. The food kitty payment also includes sandwich style lunches – (you make your own from our pre-shopped fresh ingredients and vegetarians are catered for). We suggest you bring the following items: 3 season sleeping bag, travel pillow, travel towel, flashlight, sunscreen, sunhat, rainproof jacket (just in case), walking shoes, a warm sweater for the evenings, swimsuit. We do not provide water on this tour, as a member of the International Eco Tourism Society we encourage our guests to bring a refillable container. This may be as simple as a plastic 1 liter bottle purchased from any convenience store. You may refill this every time we make a comfort stop, and we will happily recycle it for you at the end of your tour if you wish. There are many opportunities for walks on this tour. Breakfast is a light camp breakfast and include a mix of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit pastry, muffins, etc. juice, tea, coffee. Lunch is a picnic lunch typically build your own sandwiches or plate lunch from freshly provided ingredients with meats, cheese, salads, etc.. Evening meals at camp cooked from fresh cooked ingredients typically a camp meal may be a stirfry or a chili or a hearty one pot meal we cater to vegetarians, etc. with advanced notice.

Is it possible to have my own tent?

We may request a solo tent however we cannot guarantee it since it depends if the tour is fully booked as we limited to space both at the campgrounds and in our camping trailer. As of now no one else has requested a solo tent and the requests are granted on a first serve basis if available on departure. We do not charge anything extra for this if a solo tent is possible.
