    Asked on May 19th, 2024

Is there a time around this period you recommend best? Do I pay the full amount up front? I am fit and active but is there any specific training you would advise doing before coming? Is there any specific kit you advise buying/bringing? Do I need to bring my own bag for the walk for example? How much money do you think is needed to be bought into the mountains? Does it cost extra to trek to Everest Base Camp as part of the package? Am I met at the airport in Katmandu or do I meet you somewhere in the city? Is accommodation fully provided throughout the trip?

Late October would be really nice to trek Three Passes Trek. You can only pay advance amount of 20-30% to confirm the tour. This is a challenging trek but regular fitness and training should be enough. We send you trekking check list about things to bring. Everything can be hired here for a fairly cheap price. While you are on the mountains some $30-$50 per day would be more than enough for everything. It doesn't cost extra to do Base camp while you book this trip. We can easily arrange Airport pickup and drop off. Our team will pick you up. Accommodation details are provided in the itinerary.

do you have any groups for Oct 22nd departure? I am a solo traveller and want to join a group. What is the cost of a porter?

    • Swotah Travel and AdventureOperator•Written July 2022

For Oct 22 departure, we don't have a fixed group yet, but we would like to assure you that it is a guaranteed departure and we are very optimistic about the group formation. We are getting quite a few inquiries about this. We will make sure you go in a group. Another thing is that October is one of the favorite months for travelers to trek to the Khumbu area, therefore you won't struggle to find a group on the way. Porter charges us around $18-$20 a day. Plus, he needs to be insured, which costs around $30.
