  So. I never give horrible reviews however this one is necessary. My family has 16 people who do yearly tours together. This year we had a trip planned for a river cruise to Paris /normandy. My daughter and her family 4 of them paid for their trip. One month before the cruise her son started feeling ill. Repeatedly told it was a virus! Three days before setting off on the trip he became very ill He was diagnosed with leukemia! He is now in the Boston children’s hospital receiving treatment. They were unable to receive a refund from travelers insurance due to him being treated before the travel date. Aroma was so horrible and lacking compassion. Refusing any type of compensation for them. Perhaps travel credits or 50% refund. Something. There were 10 people in our group who went on the trip but we his grandparents and family could not. I did not card that we lost our money. This is a young family who have a tremendous life circumstance facing them. Not one word of compassion from AROSA. Only. We adhere to our policy. The airlines and hotels all refunded our money without hesitation. AROSA was disgustingly this company is horrible. Do not book with them The rest of the family stated the food was mediocre and although excursions were supposed to have English speaking guides they did not. All in German. I will post this daily so people know the horrible lack of empathy they have for their customers and the poor service. Also the family members who went on the trip said all rooms were booked. So the rooms we were supposed to have they were able to rebook so they made money on our horrible circumstance.Show more

  The crew was very nice and helpful. But, the boat had very limited and frequent WiFi disruptions. Some guests had plumbing trouble. Food was not as expected. Excursions were sometimes without translators for other than German speakers.Show more

  Again, as on our previous cruise the week before, reality fell far short of advertising and the expectations created....
  Again, as on our previous cruise the week before, reality fell far short of advertising and the expectations created. This was advertised as language: English German. In fact, on many occasions during the cruise there was little or no English translation. In some ports Maps were available in German but not English. The cruise was in France, but it was German food. These things should have been made clear in advertising. This cruise was down the Seine in Normandy. The boat only went as far as Caudebec (an hours drive to the coast), and gave no excursions or even opportunity to visit the Normandy Beaches at the time of the 80th anniversary of D Day landings.Show more
