We are in our late 60's but very fit and young at heart. Would we be able to be part of this tour?

My parents would like to come on this trip, but I see the age is set to 18 to 35. They are 50 and 60 but kids at heart, is that allowed?

This particular trip is age-restricted to travellers aged 18–35, and unfortunately we're not able to make exceptions to this policy, even for those who are young at heart. The age limit is in place to ensure the overall group dynamic and pace of the itinerary are suited to the intended travel style. That said, we do offer many non–age-restricted trips with similar routes and experiences that would be much more suitable for mixed-age groups.

I am very interested in this Moroccan tour during March or April 2026. I wonder if you can supply a list of names that you use for each city and the desert?

As for the accommodation, here is the 2026 hotel list: Casablanca – Moroccan House Hotel, Moulay Idriss – Diyar Timnay, Chefchaouen – Hôtel Al Kalaa, Fes – Hotel de la Paix, Merzouga – Camp la Caravane, Todra Gorge – Dar Ayour, Ait Benhaddou – Auberge la Baraka, Marrakech – Hotel Amalou. These hotels/riads may be updated closer to departure.

I have a couple of questions regarding this tour: 1) I read the notes thoroughly and was wondering if a lack of hot water is the exception or the norm at the hotels (and one camp) that we would be staying at, and 2) I didn't notice any sort of Berber camp or Gnawa music featured in the itinerary, but that would be a really cool experience. Is there any way I could work this into the existing itinerary, do you think?

Regarding heating and hot water, some of the guesthouses and hotels on this tour are unable to provide heating or guaranteed hot water due to energy supply limitations and environmental considerations. Cold showers can be expected in certain locations, although most travelers find this manageable for the majority of the year. As for additional experiences such as visiting a Berber camp or enjoying Gnawa music, these can often be arranged locally. Your tour leader will be happy to assist you with organizing such activities on the ground to enhance your itinerary.

We require minimum of 4 passengers to provide a tailor-made quote.

We plan to have a 5 day tour to Morrocco, with a budget per person around $700. We can start our tour on the 23rd of March 2026. We plan to arrive 1 day ahead and extend for 1 more night. May I know if you have a good suggestion of itineraries with our short number of stay? We will be coming from the US, pls let me know which is the arrival and departure airport. Also 1 of us is a US passport holder and 1 is a Philippine passport holder. Do we need a visa to enter Morocco?

Is there flexibility if one of our travelling party does not want to ride a camel?

Yes, there is flexibility. While the camel ride is included, if one of your travel party prefers not to ride, they can either walk alongside the camel caravan for about an hour or arrange a 4WD transfer instead. The 4WD option can be organised directly with the tour leader on the day and costs approximately 100 MAD per person.

Is there an airport pick up when we arrive?

Airport transfers are not included in the trip and should be booked at an additional cost.

For tours departing after October 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Intrepid Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Intrepid Travel. Please familiarize yourself with the Intrepid Travel payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
