Finally, am I fine carrying just a daypack during the trek, or should I expect to carry a larger backpack?

Please note the tea house lodges available en-route during trekking have hot water facility and wifi at most of the lodges, which is included in the package. Regarding luggage, you are requested to make a rucksack pack. Porter service is not included so you need to carry by yourself. If you want porter to carry bag we can arrange, which costs you US$ 175 nett extra. If you hire porter you will carry only a day pack including water bottle, camera, personal belonging.

Would you be able to get views of Mt Everest on this tour?

This Annapurna Panorama Trek is in the Annapurna trekking region of Nepal where you get to see Annapurna mountain range, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli etc, but not Everest. If you want Everest view trek we suggest Everest Base Camp trek, Pikey peak trek etc. Also if you don't want to trek we have option of Everest flights.

Could you please clarify on day 3 where it says "we will cover 42kms", How much of that distance actual trekking vs driving?

On day 3 from Pokhara to Nayapul drive approx 1.5 hrs drive and then we start trekking till Tirkhedgunga. Approx 2 hours of trekking, which depends on individual hiking/trekking experience.

This was our first visit to India/Nepal and my wife and I were very pleased with the Delhi to Kathmandu tour. It was excellent. It hit all the "highlights" of the Golden Triangle as well as the more "off the beaten path" destination of Orchha and Varanasi, including a visit to Sarnath. We booked this tour because it also included Nepal and we were not disappointed. From the serenity of the Maya Devi temple to the amazing nature of Chitwan, to the bustle of Kathmandu, we were very pleased. Everything was well organized. The team at WTX was very responsive. When we had questions or minor issues, the replied very quickly Our drivers in both countries were fantastic and the local guides in each destination were very knowledgeable. The hotels were all very good (although we didn't spend much time in them!). Overall, we had an incredible experience and would highly recommend this tour and WTX.Show more
