Can I please get a room with someone of the same gender?

If there are places that require an entry fee, can I choose not to enter if I don't want to?

Does this mean we would have to carry our luggage with us, loading onto the bus, then carrying this while sight seeing/reaching the next hotel?

Yes, with this tour, you will be required to carry your own luggage onto and off the buses. While you won't have to walk long distances with it, we recommend packing as lightly as possible, with a luggage weight limit of 15kg. This will make it easier when moving between locations, especially since the streets in some places may have cobblestones and narrow paths.

Is this ok, and is there a way to get money back for this lost night?

You are able to leave the trip at any point you would just need to advise the leader and sign off of the trip. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund for any lost accommodations or included activities that may be missed.

Is travel insurance needed for the tour?

While travel documents are not mandatory for the meeting point, it is advisable to have your TourRadar confirmation and travel insurance for security.

How are rooms allocated on the tour?

If you are booking as a couple, you will be roomed together. Solo travelers are paired with another traveler of the same gender. Double rooms can be requested where possible.

Overall was an incredible experience, Tarik, our group leader has been great whether in the early morning wake up or in the late night partying, always making sure we had fun. In fact, I enjoyed this tour ( both sightseeing, activities and group ) so much I bought the Cappadocia and have no regrets in doing so. Be advised, the itinerary is packed and you'll get to see a lot of Turkey's finest but that comes at the price of several hours of transport between locations. In conclusion, I cherish the time I spent in the tour and feel like I've made long time friends along the way.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
