This was great because the number of participants was not overcrowded or hurried. We were able to get to know the others on the tour which made it more enjoyable. The accommodations and meals were top notch. Our guide (Jens) was very well organized and efficient. He kept us well informed of what and where information for each step of the tour. Jenn was our driver and guide and knew the best restaurant, ordering food ahead of time so time wasn't wasted waiting, was knowledgeable about everywhere we went, and went the extra mile for us. Being a small group was great because you could get to know those you were traveling with and learn from their experiences. We felt safe, informed and pampered. This tour is a very well-organized, 5-day event and an excellent way for travelers to get from Melbourne to Adelaide. Our accommodations and meals were excellent. We stayed in family-run hotels/inns that were clean, safe and well-appointed. The many places we stopped for breakfasts and lunches were local cafes that provided wonderful meals. Mick did a terrific job of providing menus so we could order ahead, thus keeping our wait times minimal so we could spend time on the sites and daily itineraries. His recommendations for nightly dinners were all fantastic. We saw wonderful coastline, beautiful beaches, local wildlife and Mick shared his love of his country and its beauty.
