Itinerary
- Day 1
Manaus to Jungle Lodge
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:30 AM in Manaus, then you'll cross the Rio Negro by speed boat to reach Cacau Perera. From there, it's a drive out to Paricatuba village before boarding a motorized canoe that takes you deeper into the jungle to your lodge. After grabbing lunch, you'll paddle through creeks trying to fish for piranhas, and later that evening join a nocturnal expedition to look for alligators and other nighttime wildlife.

- Day 2
Jungle Lodge
Start with breakfast then set out on a guided jungle walk that runs about 2.5 hours with your bilingual guide pointing out medicinal plants and rainforest trees. The higher elevation gives you views of taller trees and thicker forest coverage. Back at the lodge for lunch, and afterward you'll paddle a canoe through narrow channels called Igarapés or flooded forest areas called Igapós depending on what the season allows right now.

Jungle Lodge to Manaus
You'll leave the jungle lodge this morning and head back toward Manaus with your guide traveling along with you for the return journey.
