Asked on February 18th, 2024What's the weather like in October? We live in Wisconsin. Where do we fly to and how do we get to the start of the trip and how do we get back?
EurohikeOperator•Written February 2024For arrival by plane we can highly recommend the airport Munich, then continue by bus/train in approx. 2.5 hours to Garmisch. For the return journey from Merano to Garmisch we offer a shared transfer, which can be booked in addition.

In October it is already much cooler than in midsummer, but it can still be perfect hiking weather, especially at the beginning of October, although you should expect a few rainy days during this month.
