  Excellent trek. Big thank-you to Rana Bahadur Khadka from www.adventurehimalayantravels.com. Trek planned out really well. Guide and porters were fantastic. Tea houses very tidy Highly recommended this trek if you are going for your first time. Couple of different routes can accommodate all skill levels.Show more

  Had the best time on this trek! Rana was awesome to work with went above and beyond for us for making it an unforgettable trip! His guide battam and porters were exceptional and made our trip even better. Will be booking again for other treks through them again and will be booking trip again in future with some of my kids. Can’t recommend booking with adventure Himalayan travels and Rana enough!!Show more

  We had an excellent time in Langtang Valley with Adventure Himalayan Travels. The owner, Rana, collected us from the airport and gave us all the information and equipment needed, and introduced us to our guide, Battam. He organised everything; the bus to Syabrubesi, accommodation in the tea houses, meals etc. We also had a fantastic porter who was the toughest, tiniest man I've ever met! We felt very well cared for throughout the hike. A real perk of this tour is that it is private (not a group, but a personal guide and porter), at a similar price to tours which include multiple bookings. Adventure Himalayan Travels was totally flexible to our plans and wishes. Thank you Rana, Battam and Malba(?) thr porter for making our honeymoon extremely smooth and so much fun, we will remember it fondly forever!Show more

  This is a great trek from a professional trekking company. My thanks to Rana (owner) for all his advice and organisation for us. The trek itself is not overly long, for a total of 10 days including starting and finishing in Kathmandu. The walk up the Langtang Valley along the river is spectacular with breathtaking views of the mountains and walking through beautiful forests. We had a fantastic Guide - Purna Raj, who was knowledgeable, funny and safe. This is really important on a trek like this. My advice for those considering this trek: 1. Do it! 2. Wear good quality ankle length boots - no Runners - the track is very rough and often muddy. 3. Try to book a jeep transfer to and from Kathmandu to Syrabrubesi as the road there is very very rough in places. 4. Moderate level of fitness as there are some big days in terms of climbing and distance covered. All in all, 5 stars and highly recommended.Show more

  I arrived in Kathmandu and had been on a previous tour, the Himilayan Adventure team head by Rana therefore picked me up from my previous hotel and took me to my new residence for the evening; here I met my guide and was given the detailed info regarding the holiday. Rana was very approachable and a great front man for the company. I started off on my trek the next day with Durga, my guide for the trek. I can honestly say that the experience was everything a trek should be, it was challenging, I explored local life, I made friends and I was 150% looked after. The guidance given by Durga was excellent; he pointed out fauna , flora and the Nepalese animals, he told me about the history related to the trek and most importantly spoke about how to best manage the trek, walking and breathing. Overall I had a magnificent time, no stone was left unturned. Thankyou Aditya for your utmost attention and to Rana for running such a great tour.Show more

  Second time trekking with this group. Excellent food and accommodation options. October seemed the best time to visit Nepal, specially for trekking as the weather is nicer. No delays whatsoever plus you can enjoy nice mountain back-drops from pretty much from anywhere. This visit, i even learned to cook some local dishes if Tea counts as one. I highly recommend Adventure Travels and Treks for anyone who wants to travel Nepal in the Future. Lots of options for Trekking and other activities. you wont be disappointed.Show more
