From beginning to end, the trek was exceptionally well-organized. The guides demonstrated deep knowledge, patience, and unwavering support—particularly during the summit ascent, where their encouragement and steady pacing proved invaluable. They maintained a consistent "pole pole" (slowly, slowly) rhythm and continuously checked in to ensure we were acclimatizing properly and feeling well. The Machame Route itself offers breathtaking diversity. Each day revealed new landscapes—from the lush rainforest on day one to the dramatic Shira Plateau, the exhilarating Barranco Wall, and the stark beauty of the alpine desert approaching Barafu Camp. The route’s acclimatization profile is excellent, and I am confident it contributed significantly to our group’s high summit success rate. The support crew—porters, cooks, and camp staff—exceeded expectations. We were warmly welcomed at each camp with hot meals and comfortable resting areas.   Climbing Kilimanjaro is not something people take lightly. Like many I did a lot of planning and paid a lot of money for this experience. Your tour guide is an indispensable part of the process. Getting the right one is essential. TourRadar’s Kilisa was very experienced and gave my son and I a truly first class experience. They are wonderful men who act like brothers, love each other and truly cared that we were safe, made it to to the top and had an enjoyable experience. I loved every part of it from the food to the descriptions of the plants and animals and nearby mountains, to the pictures they took for me and shared shortly after the trip, to the stories and medical checks. it was just perfect for us. Now we not only have great memories but we have 11 Tanzanian brothers. Love you Rama and Tami and the rest of the team. Hoorah for Kilisa.Show more

  I just got back yesterday from my amazing adventure...the Trek was sooo beautiful I climbed Kilimanjaro with Kilisa tours..I had a great experience with the locals and the staff were wonderful..the porters , cooks made me feel like family.. So I came in November and i was not able to have my friends climb with me as I previously thought I would.. I was thinking I would feel alone.. But all of the staff made me feel right at home.. I am so greatful to have made friends with them, they created a great experience that I will remember for my entire life. The route climbed was called Machame, it was a 7 days.. I wouldn't have made it with out the support of the staff and guides, they were so positive and had good vibes, always smiling I'm happy to have met these wonderful people. The Trek was a big Challenge because i had never been up in such a high altitude..but very Amazing...word of advice "RESPECT THE MOUNTAIN" once again I'm glad I had to help from (Ramadhan) and the Kilisa Tour group Team, they allowed me to fully experience the mountain life. The whole Team took very good care of me. The Porters always had camp set up and ready for rest. The Cook prepared a top notch meal.. Just what I needed to refresh my body.I was given my meals with kindness from the server... It was soo good..I ate better on the Climb than I did when I was in town.I have Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS. I am very greatful for the experience that I was given with the Kalisa Team and all tge memories and friends I will keep from my trip..a wonderful trek from the bottom of Kilimanjaro to the Uhuru peak. I never would have made with out you guys! Much Thanks!!   Kilisa Tours & Safaris is really a perfect tour operator! From our booking to the personal WhatsApp-communication with Naick in Shawn and I spent about 2 weeks in Tanzania, with arrangements made this local tour company who supplied our guide Bacari and Tammy Throughout the Mountain and Chris during our safari and everything was taken care off porters/cook. Our trip was spent climbing Kilimanjaro 8-Days via Machame Route while we got the chance to Spend a night at Crater Camp during descent and spent 5-Days visiting various animal parks and that include Lake Manyara, Siringet, Tarangire and Ngoro Ngoro but we also we had one day to tour around Moshi town before we departure. We’re so happy we had a great experience with this company. During our safari we saw more animals and beautiful scenery than we ever thought we would, everything was just thrilling. And during the climb, well ...It was challenging but worthy the experience besides I asked Bacari and he said All ages and all types climb and summit, so don't let that detour you from trying. Approach with common sense and respect the mountain [Fact] Lol Okay Why do I recommend this company? So far Kilisa’s Team were attentive, friendly and extremely kind ever since we arrived everything was great and from the experience we had with it feels like it’s their priority to continue providing top-notch service to customers like you always which is I highly recommend you and you and you Besides they offer the best prices and the highest quality Briefly, everything was really great!
