We had an amazing time on a private seven-day tour with Mukisa Safaris. Despite the limited time, we managed to experience so much—more than what you'd usually see in two weeks in other countries. Our coordinator, Richard, and driver-guide, John, were incredibly friendly and dedicated to making sure we were happy. Richard helped plan the trip, offered multiple options, adjusted the itinerary to match our preferences, and gave packing tips that proved super helpful. John, on the other hand, was a tireless driver and guide rolled into one. He knows all the animals of the savannah, the best times to head out, and somehow manages to spot wildlife even while driving. Thanks to him, we not only checked off all the activities on our itinerary but even went beyond it. We saw animals that most tourists miss, like hyenas and leopards. He answered all our questions, shared stories about life in Uganda, was polite, cheerful, and always ready to solve little problems that came up along the way. The team at Mukisa Safaris are fantastic partners for anyone looking to explore Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. It’s almost impossible to organize such a trip on your own, especially on your first visit, but with Mukisa, it’s all achievable. Highly recommend! Just one tip—don’t limit yourself to a week; aim for 10–12 days to see everything this beautiful country has to offer. And yes, chimpanzee trekking (and most likely gorilla trekking, which we didn’t get to) is absolutely worth it. Don’t hesitate—it’s an investment in memories you’ll treasure forever.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Mukisa Safaris Uganda. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 62 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
