Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali to Musanze
Your driver-guide meets you at Kigali International Airport and you'll head out after grabbing lunch. The drive takes you to Musanze, and if there's enough daylight, you can stop at the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo. The steep hills surrounding these lakes create a nice backdrop, and you'll get views of the Virunga Volcanoes in the distance. It's a good first day to settle in and see some of Rwanda's landscape.

Mountain Gorilla Tracking
Start early with breakfast, then head to Kinigi at the National Park headquarters to meet your guides. After handling park formalities, you'll track mountain gorillas through the forest. Once you find them, you'll spend an hour observing. Back at the hotel for lunch, and then you can choose to visit Ibyiwacu cultural village center if you'd like. You'll stay another night at Five Volcanoes Boutique and have dinner there.

- Day 3
Musanze to Kigali
After breakfast, you'll go to Kinigi again to meet guides for golden monkey tracking. Following that experience, you head to Kigali for a city tour that includes the craft market, Gisozi genocide memorial site, and the Kigali museum. There's time for some shopping before you need to leave for the airport and catch your return flight.
