  We had the absolute pleasure of having Ismaail as our driver and tour guide during our time in Morocco, and we could not have asked for a better person to accompany us on our journey. From the very beginning, Ismaail was friendly, professional, patient, and extremely accommodating. He did an excellent job showing us around Morocco and making sure we experienced the beautiful sights and attractions the country has to offer. He was knowledgeable about the different locations and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Whenever we needed assistance, Ismaail was there to help, going above and beyond to make our experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. What stood out to us most was his warm personality and genuine care for his guests. He made us feel safe, welcomed, and well taken care of throughout our trip.   The tour overall was great. Zak is an excellent driver who was courteous, helpful, prompt, and accommodating to our needs. He provided much information as we went from one area to another. There were so many highlights along the way it is hard to choose our favorites. We loved the beautiful scenery as we traveled the many miles around Morocco. Most of the accomodations along the way were good. The Riad in Chefchaouen stood out as our favorite. It was clean, spacious, and had an amazing view of the city and mountains. It also had the best breakfast of any place we stayed. The worst was the "luxury" Bedouin camp. We paid extra for the experience that was far from "luxury". The best part of the camp experience was the camel ride at sunset. Experiencing the Medina in Fez was outstanding. Visiting the tile works, the fossil excavation factory, the tannery, Atlas Studios, multiple Kasbah's, ancient sites, mountains and valleys, were all worth the long hours on the road. If you want to experience Morocco, choose this adventure!Show more

  We traveled through Morocco for 7 days and had a wonderful time. The country, people and culture are fantastic and very, very diverse. We saw and learned a lot. We (4 people) had booked a group tour for a maximum of 6 people. There were four of us and we covered the approx. 3000 km in a new, extremely comfortable and spacious Ford Tourneo (9-seater). Our driver was very nice, spoke good English and explained a lot to us on the way. In some of the larger towns we had guides. The riads we booked were okay. The booking process via Tourradar was easy and the communication was perfect. Everything also worked perfectly with the local provider - Morocco Top Travel. it was a successful trip. We are very happy to recommend the tour.Show more

  This is a great tour to experience the highlights of a culturally rich and geographically diverse country in a low-budget way. I had previously done a higher-end fully-guided tour of Morocco and visited almost the same areas and sights as this tour - the difference was that the previous tour included better quality accommodations and a guide who accompanied the group throughout the tour and and took care of all the smallest details. For this tour, be prepared to pay entrance fees at sights even where a local guide is included (who also needs to be tipped), to figure out where you are and what you are looking at, and to sleep in sometimes tight and uncomfortable accommodations (hard beds, no bathroom door, noisy A/C). And I must give kudos to the tour operator who was always responsive to our questions via TourRadar and took quick responsibility and reimbursed us for an expense we had at the end of the tour because their driver messed up. And now on to why I can't rate this tour higher - too many missteps by our driver Ayoub. We started out on not a great foot with him because from the first day he tried to pick us up earlier than would allow us to have a proper breakfast at our hotel. This happened a few other times where he pressured us to get on the road before the time that our riad was open to serve breakfast. Having a leisurely breakfast was important to us on our vacation (the riads tend to serve quite an elaborate breakfast), and the tour itinerary for the day always stated that we would begin the day's drive after breakfast. But Ayoub frequently suggested that we couldn't complete the day's itinerary unless we got on the road super early and either skipped breakfast or took food to go. We did push back on this, but the tour operator ought to consider the time that certain riads start serving breakfast and whether that time works with each day's itinerary. Our first night of the tour was in Chefchouen and, to our surprise, our driver Ayoub was also the "host" of the guesthouse where we stayed because the housekeeping staff were away for a national holiday. We agreed on a time for breakfast the next morning. We were in the designated breakfast area for a half hour before Ayoub rushed in all apologetic and started setting the table - he had overslept. Later that day, he told us to meet him at a certain time at the guesthouse so we could go to the car with our luggage to start that day's journey. After the designated time he texted us to say he was at the car and we should come meet him there (something about having to move the car). So we had to drag our luggage down the many stairs of the guesthouse and down the hill through the winding cobbled streets to meet him at the car. After these couple of missteps, my husband was not at all happy with Ayoub, and it took a few days before he started trusting him. But we eventually ended up having a very nice relationship with him, even though his English is quite limited. On the second to last day of the tour, he dropped us at our riad in Marrakech where we were going to be for 2 nights before flying back to the US. We tipped him nicely for the tour and confirmed the time that he would pick us up in 2 days to drive us to the airport for our flight home. He then texted me the night before to confirm our 8:00 am pickup time, which would get us to the airport 2 hours before our flight departure. The next morning, he did not show up at the agreed time and I could not reach him by WhatsApp text or calls - I could see that his WhatsApp was turned off. When it was 30 minutes past the hour, we were getting frantic. I tried to reach the tour operator's office by phone and could not. Our riad host (Riad) was wonderful and also tried to reach someone at the tour operator. When we asked about getting a taxi, he said he would help us do that (and did!). I then heard from Ayoub - he had just woken up and said he would come to get us. Waiting for him to get us would have gotten us to the airport much too late, and I told him not to bother and that we were taking a taxi. (On a previous tour in Costa Rica, our tour operator had misjudged how much time we needed to get to the airport; we ended up missing our flight and it took us 2 days before we were able to get another flight home! We were not anxious to repeat that experience.) In summary: a good tour for the money and a responsive tour operator, but the experience was marred by having a driver with poor communication skills who didn't think to use an alarm to get up on time.Show more

  A great itinerary to move around Morocco in a week. You get to see the scope of this magnificent vast country and it's different landscapes. One unexpected highlight for us was the beautiful Dades Valley where we stayed in a family guesthouse and had the most delicious meal. Having a private driver was fabulous. Mohammed drove exceptionally well in a very comfortable modern car. Great soundtracks on our journey too and we enjoyed many laughs with Moha. Thankyou.Show more

  We have just completed our family trip to Morocco following this itinerary, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The route was very well designed and gave us a fantastic overview of the country — from the cities and medinas to the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. All accommodations were comfortable and well chosen, and the pace of the trip was very good for a family with teenagers. Even on longer driving days, there were frequent stops, beautiful scenery, and enough time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed. What truly made this trip special, however, was our driver and guide, Zacarias. He was exceptionally good — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always attentive to our needs. Zacarias shared a lot of information about Moroccan history, culture, and daily life, answered all our questions, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times. He was also wonderful with our children, which made the journey even more enjoyable for our whole family. I can say that we didn’t just see Morocco — we experienced it. We highly recommend this tour and would not hesitate to travel again with the same operator, especially if Zacarias is guiding.Show more

The car (Skoda Kodiaq) was in perfect condiotion an offered real luxury for the passengers in the back and the driver. The trip was perfectly organized and we were able to keep the schedule. Nice Riads in Chefchouen, Fes and Marrakesch. Interesting luxury tent in the desert. We had some traveller books with us, ckecked a lot YouTube reports before and were able to get answers to upcomig questions. Perfect trip. Hint: The riads might be fresh in march still.Show more
