Thank you for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We understand how it could feel frustrating to have questions during the journey and not always have a guide available to provide detailed explanations. On this tour, the program includes a professional driver who accompanies you throughout the trip, while licensed local guides are provided in the main historical cities and sites such as ait ben haddou, Volubilis, Fes, and Marrakech. This approach allows guests to benefit from certified specialists in key locations while keeping the tour flexible and comfortable during travel days. That said, your experience is very important to us. If at any moment you felt that your questions were not fully addressed, we sincerely apologize. We always encourage guests to ask their driver questions as well, as they are knowledgeable about the regions and happy to share information during the journey. Your feedback helps us improve and clarify expectations for future travelers. We truly hope that despite this point, you were still able to enjoy Morocco’s landscapes, culture, and hospitality. Thank you again for traveling with us, and we would be happy to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards, Ali

Dear Tsehaye, First of all, thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We truly appreciate your honesty. Feedback like yours is very important to us because it helps us improve. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the riads, the hospitality of the hotel staff, the scenic drives, and especially your guided tour in Fes. It’s wonderful to know that those parts of your journey were memorable and positive. However, we are sincerely sorry to read about the frustrations and disappointments you experienced. That is never the level of service we aim to provide. Regarding the hotel reservation on your arrival day, we completely understand how exhausting long-haul travel can be, and having to wait while sorting out a booking issue is unacceptable. We apologize for the inconvenience and stress this caused you. This should have been handled smoothly before your arrival. Concerning Volubilis, the guided visit is included in the program, and if there was any misunderstanding or additional payment made on site, please contact us directly with the details so we can review and resolve this properly. Transparency is extremely important to us. We also want to clarify the structure of the tour. The program includes an English-speaking driver who accompanies guests throughout the trip, and licensed local city guides in major historical cities such as volubilis, ait ben haddou and Fes, as well as at specific sites. However, we understand that the wording “driver/guide” may have created the expectation of having a fully guided explanation during all travel days. If this was not clearly communicated, we sincerely apologize for the confusion. We are already reviewing how this is presented to avoid misunderstandings in the future. As for the itinerary differences (restaurant stop, Rissani market, Majorelle Garden tickets), you are absolutely right that better communication would have made a difference. Some sites like the Majorelle Garden require advance booking due to limited availability, but this should have been clearly explained beforehand. Thank you for pointing this out. Traveling solo can already feel uncertain, and we understand that expectations around guidance and support were especially important in your case. We are sorry that your experience did not match what you were promised or what you had hoped for, especially given the positive reviews that influenced your decision. We truly regret that your experience did not reflect the standard we strive to maintain, and we thank you again for your honesty. Kind regards, Ali

What time does the tour start on day 1 (May 26)? When do we need to arrive at Casablanca? If we arrive a day early in Casablanca, can you arrange hotel for us? If we only have local guide at major cities, what about the other places? What time does the tour end in Casablanca on day 7? when can you drop us off at the airport?

Day 1 (May 26): The tour typically starts in the morning around 8:00–9:00 AM. We recommend arriving in Casablanca at least one day before the tour to ensure a smooth start.

Arrival in Casablanca: Ideally, you should arrive no later than the evening of May 25.

Pre-tour accommodation: Yes, we would be happy to arrange a hotel for you in Casablanca if you arrive a day early.

Guides during the tour: Local professional guides are provided in major cities. During travel between destinations and in smaller locations, your driver (who is experienced and knowledgeable) will assist you and provide general information.

Day 7 (End of tour): The tour usually ends in Casablanca in the late afternoon (around 4:00–6:00 PM). Airport drop-off can be arranged accordingly, and we recommend booking your departure flight in the evening or later.

What's the longest duration of the bus ride for this 7 day itinerary? Also, would it be cold in the evening for the desert camping? For the double occupancy, do you have rooms with 2 twin beds?

    Accommodation
    Tour Details

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

Longest bus ride: The longest driving day is typically between Fes and the Sahara Desert (Merzouga), which can take around 7–8 hours including scenic stops along the way. We always make multiple breaks to keep the journey comfortable and enjoyable. Desert temperatures: Even though the desert is warm during the day, evenings and early mornings can be quite cool, especially in the desert camp. We recommend bringing a light jacket or warm layer for the night. Room configuration: Yes, for double occupancy, we can absolutely arrange rooms with 2 separate twin beds instead of one double bed. Just let us know your preference, and we'll make sure it's organized for you.

For the desert camping are there heaters?

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

Yes, our desert camps are equipped with heaters in the tents to keep you warm during the evening and night. That said, temperatures in late September are generally mild, but it can still get a bit chilly after sunset, so we always recommend bringing a light jacket just in case.

How many days do you recommend to stay in Casablanca and Marrakesh? for pre and post trip? Just to see all the landmarks and some shopping.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

For the best experience, we usually recommend: 1 night in Casablanca before the tour – this gives you enough time to rest after your flight and visit key landmarks such as the Hassan II Mosque. 1 night in Marrakech after the tour – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa, exploring the souks, and doing some shopping at a relaxed pace. Of course, if you'd like a more in-depth experience (more sightseeing, gardens, museums, or shopping), adding an extra night in Marrakech is always a great idea.

    • R

      Rachel

      TravelerWritten March 2026

Is there a price list for these entries?

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

In Morocco, tour vehicles (4x4 or minibus) do not have onboard toilets.

However, please don't worry — we plan frequent stops:
      • Every 1.5 to 2 hours
      • At cafés, rest areas, or scenic stops with facilities

For guests who prefer more comfort (especially long drives), we can increase the number of stops anytime — just let the driver know

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

When the itinerary says "entry fees not included", it simply means:

You pay directly at the entrance of each site (no need to book in advance).
      Your guide/driver will always:
      • Inform you of the price
      • Help you buy tickets if needed

This system gives you flexibility — you only pay for what you actually visit.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, here's a general idea of typical entrance fees in Morocco:
      • Most monuments & museums: 50–70 MAD ($5–7)
      • Some major sites:
      • Majorelle Garden: ~15 usd
      • Bahia Palace: ~7 usd
      • Bou Inania Madrasa (Fes): ~5–6 USD

      In general:
      • Expect about $2–12 per site
      • Many places (medinas, souks, viewpoints) are free

Prices can change slightly, but your driver will always keep you updated.

How far in advance do we have to book?

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, the Moroccan Sahara is located in the southeastern part of Morocco, not far from the Algerian border. The areas most commonly visited on tours are the dunes of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) and Erg Chigaga, both famous for their beautiful golden sand dunes and desert camps.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, that is absolutely possible. For a double occupancy room, we can arrange two separate twin beds instead of one double bed. Just let us know your preference when confirming the booking.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, in most cases we can arrange for the tour to end in Marrakech instead of Casablanca. Many travelers prefer this option, and we can easily adjust the itinerary to accommodate it.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

For travel in September, we usually recommend booking about 2–3 months in advance to ensure availability of the best accommodations and desert camps. However, you can also reserve earlier if you prefer to secure your dates.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, absolutely — we can keep the itinerary as planned and add the extra day at the end in Marrakech instead of Casablanca. Adding 1 extra night in Marrakech: $70 USD per person → for 4 people = $280 USD total. If instead you prefer adding a night in Casablanca: $45 USD per person → for 4 people = $180 USD total.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

So to clarify: the price is per person, not total.

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

For your family of four: In some riads/hotels, you will receive 2 double/twin rooms. In others, you may receive a family quadruple room. We always prioritize comfort and availability, especially with family bookings.

Examples of Accommodations (or similar): Aday Hotel – Casablanca, Riad El Palacio & Spa – Chefchaouen, Riad Jnane Medina – Fes, Nomad Palace Luxury – Merzouga Desert Camp, Riad Gabsi – Dades, Riad Dar Barbi – Marrakech. (All subject to availability at time of confirmation.)
