  I had a great experience with the team of White Hill Adventure. Trekking guide with us was so familiar, fantastic, friendly and more importantly encouraging to reach the base camp of Annapurna. Well organized crew, Highly recommend this agency.Show more

  Although I had a wonderful trek to ABC (the Annapurna Sanctuary and area are spectacular) with all the options there are for operators in Annapurna, I recommend you DO NOT use White Hill Adventures. 1) I signed up for a small group tour, and White Hill explained their process and told me I would be a part of a group of approximately 6 people. On the day of my tour, my guide showed up, told me no one else booked the tour and I would be alone. I had made it clear to White Hill that I wanted to be a part of a group and they provided no advance notice that I would be alone. I had no choice but to go forward with a tour (at the last minute) that I did not sign up for. 2) My guide’s English was not good. There were several tense points caused by the challenges in communication. There were many times when I had questions or needed clarifications where I did not bother to work with my guide because of the language difficulties. At certain points my guide had other mountain guides translate for him! 3) I paid for a single-room supplement, but in the middle of the first day (while on the trail) my guide said that they would be unable to provide a single room on two of my eight nights!? That possibility was never mentioned when paying the single-supplement. 4) My 9-day tour became an 8-day tour because White Hill was unable to book a space for me at Annapurna Base Camp or Machapuchre Base Camp. No returns were offered. There were additional small challenges, but these were the main ones. I would not work with White Hill again and I recommend you don’t either.Show more

  Thank you for your Critical review! We completely understand your resentment and we would like to start by apologizing for any inconvenience caused. However, there are a few things that we would like to clear out with you, as this confusing situation was created out of utter misunderstanding of information. Please note that you had booked Annapurna Base Camp 9 days with private room. Mountain tea houses are not like Cit (Kathmandu and pokhara) Hotel. You didn't have private rooms expect ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP? Yes, you had private room! But You can say, you had private room everywhere not Single bed room. Single or double bed in room doesn't matter. On the way to ABC trek, there are not any hotel one room with single/one bed.This is local peoples tea house/ Lodge. What's best availability their, we would like provide our clients. And we weren't able to provide room and make sleep in Annapurna Base Camp due to heavy snowing and Avalanche. This happen come after you booked trip. Your 9 days tour become 8 days because of Base Camp closed. Instated of one day early finished trek, my guide provide you free nice hotel In Pokhara. Please noted that again, In ABC, no one sleep because of avalanche! In Machhapurchre Base Came, tourist are overflowed due to ABC closed. Guide requested to you when back on the way down to stay local place. You said no! You want, to go pokhara and rest. What's ever you like, Guide will work favor of you. As you said we told you approximately 6 peoples in group. Yes, we told you. We had also group. In last hour 5 peoples (one family group) postpone trip for next month because of they have family problem then we decided to run your private trip. This is our false to run your private trip!!! Even company have less profit !! About our guide English, We are very sure, Our guide understand your English and You can understand our guide English. I took many feedback with ours clients after finished trek. They said, guide is very good and knowledgeable. If you think do we need improve our guides English, of curse we take your suitable comment and follow. We will join English to them. In Nepal, Every mountain guide English is little bit lack of Grammatical because of they don't have good education. Specially Sherpa guide. They were born in Mountain ruler areas. We are always want to give best services for our customers. We would also like to assure you that we would always try every effort to make our every client’s trip successful and full of joy in coming days.
